Lothar Ulsaß
Lothar Ulsaß (9 September 1940 – 18 June 1999) was a German professional footballer who played as a midfielder or striker. Club career Early in his career Ulsaß was a prolific goalscorer at Arminia Hannover in the second tier Amateuroberliga Niedersachsen and later the first tier Oberliga Nord. Eventually Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig took note of Ulsaß, who had already represented the West Germany under-23 and amateur national teams and was considered a major talent by the German press. He was signed by Braunschweig in 1964 and went on to spend nine seasons in the Bundesliga with the club. Serving as Eintracht's playmaker, Ulsaß was one of the key players in the team's 1966–67 championship-winning season. Ulsaß was among the players involved in the 1971 Bundesliga scandal. 1966–67 Bundesliga
The 1966–67 Bundesliga was the fourth season of the Bundesliga, West Germany's premier football league. It began on 20 August 1966 and ended on 3 June 1967. 1860 Munich were the defending champions. Competition modus Every team played two games against each other team, one at home and one away. Teams received two points for a win and one point for a draw. If two or more teams were tied on points, places were determined by goal average. The team with the most points were crowned champions while the two teams with the fewest points were relegated to their respective Regionalliga divisions. Stroke
A stroke is a medical condition in which poor blood flow to the brain causes cell death. There are two main types of stroke: ischemic, due to lack of blood flow, and hemorrhagic, due to bleeding. Both cause parts of the brain to stop functioning properly. The 1968 UEFA European Football Championship final tournament was held in Italy. This was the third UEFA European Championship, an event held every four years and organised by UEFA. The 1966 FIFA World Cup was the eighth FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams. It was played in England from 11 July to 30 July 1966.
