''Lostboy! AKA Jim Kerr'' is Simple Minds front-man Jim Kerr's first solo album released on 17 May 2010. The album entered the UK charts at No. 94 on 29 May 2010 and UK Independent Chart at #8. The album has also made the charts in some other European areas, most notably Germany, Italy, France and Belgium. Overview The album was released in five different formats; the 11-track standard CD-version, the 14-track Limited Edition CD, the Collector's Edition (11-track CD + 2-track bonus 7" vinyl), 11-track LP and 11-track digital download. ''Walk Between Worlds'' is the eighteenth studio album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds, released in February 2018 by BMG. Background ''Walk Between Worlds'' heralded major lineup changes for Simple Minds. After a period of relative stability since the early 2000s, only vocalist Jim Kerr, guitarist Charlie Burchill and bassist Ged Grimes remained from the previous studio album, Big Music. It was the first album since 2002's ''Cry'' without keyboardist Andy Gillespie, who left the band in early 2017. Longtime drummer Mel Gaynor performed on nine of the album's tracks, but left prior to the band's 2018 tour. Longtime associate Gordon Goudie played acoustic guitar on four songs. Jez Coad
Jez Coad (born London, England) is an English record producer and musician. He has played and toured with his band, The Surfing Brides. Coad produced the 2005 album, '' Black & White 050505'', by the Scottish rock group Simple Minds. Coad wrote and arranged parts of the album, and worked with Bob Clearmountain in the mixing. Coad then went on to produce their following album ''Graffiti Soul''. He continued working with the Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr, on the Lostboy! AKA Jim Kerr project in which he produced, wrote, and played. This culminated in a 2010 European tour where Coad played guitar. He also produced the Andrew Strong album, ''Gypsy's Kiss''. The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published, one on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia.
