Ljubljana Silverhawks
The Ljubljana Silverhawks are an American football team based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, founded in 2002 by a group of football fans from the Slovenian capital. It is the first team to have brought the sport in Slovenia. The team has achieved the first place in six editions of the Slovenian Football League (2009–10, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016, and 2017). The team has also won a title in the Central European Football League in 2012. Before the 2019 season, Ljubljana Silverhawks merged with Domžale Tigers. Graz Giants
The Graz Giants are an American football team in Graz, Austria founded in 1981. The Giants play in the Austrian Football League at ASKÖ Stadium in the Eggenberg district of Graz. History Inspired by a March 1981 broadcast of the first Austrian football team, the Vienna Ramblocks, Stefan Herdey decided to found an American football team. After an advertisement was placed in a local newspaper, a dozen potential players attended the first meeting and founded the Graz Football Team. That team would be renamed the Graz Giants. The Giants took part in the first game between two Austrian teams, in which they lost 44–12 to the Ramblocks. With the dissolution of the Ramblocks, the Graz Giants are the oldest existing American football team in Austria. The Raiders Tirol (for the AFL-Teams SWARCO Raiders Tirol, formerly Papa Joe’s Tyrolean Raiders) are an American football team based in Innsbruck, Austria. Founded in 1992, the Raiders since have become one of Austria's and Europe's most dominant American football teams, winning the Eurobowl title three times (2008, 2009, and 2011) and the CEFL also three times (2017–2019). Mödling Rangers
Mödling () is the capital of the Austrian district of the same name located approximately 14 km south of Vienna. Mödling lies in Lower Austria's industrial zone (Industrieviertel). The Mödlingbach, a brook which rises in the Vienna Woods, flows through the town. Near Achau it joins with the Schwechat. Maribor Generals
The Maribor Generals were an American football team from Maribor, Slovenia. History The Maribor Generals were founded on 21 May 2008. In October 2009, the Generals, along with the Ljubljana Silverhawks, Alp Devils and Gold Diggers, organized the first Slovenian Football League. The Generals played their first official match of the Slovenian Championship against the Alp Devils, defeating them 25–13 and scoring the first touchdown of the championship with a kickoff return. In 2012, the Generals reached the Slovenian Bowl II, where they were defeated by the Sliverhawks, 23–10. In the 2013 season, the difference in points made the Generals reached the Slovenian Bowl once again, but the Silverhawks defeated them again.
