The ''Living Greyhawk Gazetteer'' (''LGG'') is a sourcebook for the ''World of Greyhawk'' campaign setting for the 3rd edition of the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' roleplaying game. Despite the title, the ''Living Greyhawk Gazetteer'' is not exclusive to the Living Greyhawk Campaign. Other publications linked to the ''Living Greyhawk Gazetteer'' have treated it as superior to the '' D&D Gazetteer'' and used it in the ''D&D Gazetteers place. Contents The ''Living Greyhawk Gazetteer'' expands upon material covered by previous products, such as Gary Gygax's ''World of Greyhawk Fantasy Game Setting'' and Carl Sargent's '' From the Ashes'' (TSR, 1993). Erik Mona
Erik Mona (born April 1974) is an American game designer who lives in Seattle, Washington. Career Mona was the Managing Editor of issues 1 and 2 of the '' Oerth Journal'', an online publication devoted to the ''World of Greyhawk'' campaign setting, and the Editor-in-Chief from issues 2–7. Mona had the opportunity to talk to designers like Robert Kuntz on the GreyTalk mailing list in 1990s, where Kuntz shared stories of the early days of the Greyhawk campaigns. Mona became the head publisher of Paizo in April 2006. Mona served as the editor-in-chief of the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' role-playing game magazines '' Dragon'' beginning in 2004 and ''Dungeon'' from 2004 to 2006; at the time, both magazines were published by Paizo until the license through Wizards of the Coast expired in September 2007. ''Dungeon'' (originally published as ''Dungeon: Adventures for TSR Role-Playing Games'') was one of the two official magazines targeting consumers of the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' role-playing game and associated products; '' Dragon'' was the other. It was first published by TSR, Inc. in 1986 as a bimonthly periodical. It went monthly in May 2003 and ceased print publication altogether in September 2007 with Issue 150. Starting in 2008, ''Dungeon'' and its more widely read sister publication, ''Dragon'', went to an online-only format published by Wizards of the Coast. ''Greyhawk: The Adventure Begins'' is a 1998 sourcebook for the ''World of Greyhawk'' campaign setting for the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' roleplaying game. The 128 page book was written by Roger E. Moore and published by Wizards of the Coast under the TSR imprint it had recently acquired. Contents ''The Adventure Begins'' contains a general overview of the world of Oerth, including updates on the world's history, notable calendar events, and descriptions of the cultural and geographical divisions of the area. The book provides much specific information on the City of Greyhawk, the largest and most populous city of Oerth, including details on everything from its ruling council to its criminal codes, and descriptions of notable locations and characters within the city. ''Greyhawk Adventures'' is an accessory for the ''Advanced Dungeons & Dragons'' (''AD&D'') ''World of Greyhawk'' campaign setting. William Matthew O'Connor (September 22, 1970 – January 31, 2018) was an American artist whose work appeared in role-playing games, books, video games and concept art. Early life and education William O'Connor was born on Long Island, New York. Carl Lynwood Sargent (11 December 1952 – 12 September 2018) was a British parapsychologist and author of several roleplaying game-based products and novels, who used the pen name Keith Martin to write ''Fighting Fantasy'' gamebooks. Early life and education Sargent was schooled in South Wales and the West of England. He then attended Churchill College, Cambridge, majoring in the natural sciences, and graduated with honours in psychology in 1974. He received a PhD in 1979 for a work which bore on parapsychology, and went on to undertake post-doctoral research in parapsychology at the Psychological Laboratory of the University of Cambridge.
