''Live Loyal Die Rich'' is a mixtape by rapper Young Buck, hosted by DJ Crisis & Drumma Boy. The mixtape features exclusive tracks and freestyles from Young Buck with appearances by The Outlawz, All Star Cashville Prince, and more. It was released for digital download on January 24, 2012. Background Due to contract issues with G-Unit Records and a feud with label head 50 Cent, Young Buck couldn't release a new album. So with help from Drumma Boy and Drum Squad records, Buck got together and they released an official mixtape through Young Buck's record label Cashville Records and Drumma Boy's label Drum Squad Records. David Darnell Brown (born March 15, 1981), best known by his stage name Young Buck, is an American rapper. He heads his own record label, Cashville, and was a member of the former hip hop group G-Unit. Early life Brown was born in Nashville, Tennessee. Around the age of 12, he began rapping. A few years later, he performed for Brian "Baby" Williams, co-founder of Cash Money. Music career Young Buck joined Cash Money in 1997 but left for Juvenile's UTP in 2000. He released two albums with UTP, '' Born to Be a Thug'' and '' The Compilation'', before leaving the label in 2003 to join 50 Cent's record label G-Unit. Outlawz (formerly known as Outlaw Immortalz) are an American hip hop group founded by rapper Tupac Shakur in late 1995 after Shakur's release from prison. Collectively, they were best known for their association with Shakur. Most of the group members are named after political figures. Drew and Shannon is an American record producer and songwriting duo, from Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Collaboration Drew Ramsey and Shannon Sanders met while both were on the Contemporary Christian music circuit. Finding common interest in R&B they began to write together. Shannon plays trumpet and keyboard, while Drew plays bass and guitar. They have been working together for over 15 years and both live in Nashville, Tennessee, US. Tha City Paper is an American rapper, currently signed to the Ca$hville Records record label. Early life The City Paper grew up on the north and west side of Nashville. Around 1996–1997 while in high school, Paper was dating the cousin of a rapper named Pistol. He also knew Pistol's cousins, who were a part of a group called "PJN", which Pistol created. Marcus Fitzgerald, Tha City Paper's name, was a thriving young basketball player before joining the hip-hop scene. A mixtape (alternatively mix-tape, mix tape or mixed tape) is a compilation of music, typically from multiple sources, recorded onto a medium. With origins in the 1980s, the term normally describes a homemade compilation of music onto a cassette tape, CD, or digital playlist.
