Liudmila Privivkova
Liudmila Andreyevna Privivkova (russian: Людмила Андреевна Прививкова) (born 13 September 1986 in Moscow; also spelled Ludmila or Liudmilla, but she spells it Liudmila) is a curler (Skip) from Russia. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, in Turin, Italy, she was the skip for the Russian team. Apart from the national team, she plays for the Moskvitch Curling Club, from Moscow. She won the World Junior Curling Championships in Jeonju, Korea on 19 March 2006 and the 2006 European Curling Championships in December the same year. Her team also qualified for the 2007 World Women's Curling Championship, but did not enjoy the same success as in the European tournament, finishing tied for 8th place with a 4-7 record. She qualified for her third world championship in 2008. European Junior Curling Challenge
The European Junior Curling Challenge is an annual curling bonspiel held in the World Curling Federation's Europe zone. The championships feature curlers under the age of 21 competing to qualify for a spot in the World Junior Curling Championships. Margarita Fomina
Margarita Mikhailovna Fomina (russian: Маргари́та Миха́йловна Фомина́; born 19 August 1988 in Dmitrov) is a curler from Moscow, Russia. She was part of Ludmila Privivkova's team that won the 2006 European Curling Championships. She received her education at the Moscow Institute of Economics and Humanities. Ekaterina Galkina
Ekaterina Vladimirovna Galkina (russian: Екатери́на Влади́мировна Га́лкина; born 10 August 1988 in Moscow) is a Russian curler. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, in Turin, Italy, she was part of Ludmila Privivkova's team. A year later this team won the 2006 European Curling Championships. She has studied Management and International Relations at the Russian State University for the Humanities. In January 2010 Galkina was officially named to the Russian Olympic Team. She and her teammates represented Russia at the 2014 Ford World Women's Curling Championship held in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, from 15 to 23 March. Nkeiruka Ezekh
Nkeirouka Khilarievna "Kira" Ezekh (russian: Нкеирука (Кира) Хилариевна Езех; born October 17, 1983) is a Russian curler. She currently skips her own team out of Saint Petersburg. The team won the 2022 Russian Curling Championships. She has competed at fifteen World Women's Curling Championships and seventeen European Curling Championships. She won a silver medal at the 2017 World Women's Curling Championship, as well as three bronze medals from 2014 to 2016 as part of the Anna Sidorova rink. She has won the European Championship three times (, , ) as well as a silver and bronze medal in 2014 and 2011 respectively. Curling At The 2010 Winter Olympics
The curling competition of the 2010 Olympics was held at Vancouver Olympic/Paralympic Centre in Vancouver. It is the fifth time that curling was on the Olympic program, after having been staged in 1924, 1998, 2002 and 2006. For the 2010 Winter Olympics the competition followed the same format that was used during the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, with 10 teams playing a round robin tournament, from which the top four teams advance to the semi-finals. The 2007 World Women's Curling Championship was held in Aomori, Aomori, Japan from March 17–25, 2007. It was the first world curling championship (men's or women's) to be held in Asia.
