A university () is an institution of higher (or tertiary) education and research which awards academic degrees in several academic disciplines. Instituto Tecnologico De Chihuahua
The Chihuahua Institute of Technology (in es, Instituto Tecnológico de Chihuahua, ITCH) is a public university located in the city of Chihuahua, capital of the state of Chihuahua, in Mexico. History The Instituto Tecnológico de Chihuahua, also known as ITCH, was the first institute of technology in Mexico outside Mexico City. The first stone was laid on September 26, 1948 by the Public Education Secretary, Lic. Manuel Guel Vidal, and by the governor of Chihuahua State, Ing. Fernando Foglio Miramontes. Construction started some days later, on November 13, and was directed by Ing. Alfredo Guevara Cepeda and by the auxiliary resident engineer, Ing. Jesús Roberto Durán. The Ensenada Institute of Technology ( es, Instituto Tecnológico de Ensenada, ITE) is a college level technology institution located in the city of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. Inaugurated in 1997, the college is one of three regional institutes of technology part of the national system of institutes of technology in the Mexican state of Baja California. History The Ensenada Institute of Technology began its activities on 5 September 1997, after nine years of operating as an Academic Unit of the Tijuana Institute of Technology. The demand of new options of higher education level to give support and service to the productive sector and the community and efforts of the board of teachers along with federal, state and municipal authorities led to the birth of this institute. Durango City (, stp, Korian), officially Victoria de Durango is the capital and largest city of the Mexican state of Durango. The city, which is located in Northern Mexico has a population of 654,876 as of the 2015 census, and sits at an altitude of . It is also the municipal seat of the Durango Municipality. The city's official name is Victoria de Durango. The denomination of Victoria was added in honor of the first president of Mexico, Guadalupe Victoria, who was originally from the state of Durango. Culiacán
Culiacán, officially Culiacán Rosales, is a city in northwestern Mexico, the capital and largest city of both the Culiacán Municipality and the state of Sinaloa. The city was founded on 29 September 1531, by the Spanish Conquistadores, conquerors Lázaro de Cebreros and Nuño de Guzmán, Nuño Beltrán de Guzmán under the name of "Villa de San Miguel", referring to its patron saint, Michael the Archangel.
