World Curling Tour
The World Curling Tour (WCT) is a group of curling bonspiels featuring the best male, female, and mixed doubles curlers in the world. History The World Curling Tour was founded by former World Champion Ed Lukowich, with later assistance from John Kawaja. The World Curling Tour commenced in 1992, with men's events only at first. It replaced the "Canadian Curling Tour" held the previous season. The first season consisted of 48 events (with only one outside Canada), and was sponsored by Seagram's distillery. Teams earned points in every event with the top 30 qualifying for the season ending " V.O. Cup", today known as the Players' Championship. Its first president and CEO was Lukowich. The first two events were held on the first weekend of October 1992, the Red Carpet Classic in Regina, Saskatchewan and a qualifier for the Coca-Cola Classic in Winnipeg. Andrew Bilesky is a Canadian curler from New Westminster, British Columbia. Career Bilesky has skipped teams on the World Curling Tour since the 2009–10 curling season. His best finish to date is as champion at the 2011 Kamloops Crown of Curling. Bilesky won his first Men’s provincial curling championship in 2013 after defeating Brent Pierce in the final. Sarnia
Sarnia is a city in Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. It had a 2021 population of 72,047, and is the largest city on Lake Huron. Mark Bice
Mark Bice (born October 10, 1984 in Sarnia, Ontario) is a Canadian curler. He used to skip a team on the World Curling Tour. Career Bice had a fairly successful junior career. Bice is a two time provincial junior champion, winning in 2003 and 2005 and was a provincial schoolboy champion in 2002. In 2003, his rink of Mike Callan, Rob Pruliere and Jeff Wilson finished with a 7-5 record at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships- out of the playoffs. In 2005, they went to the Canadian Juniors again, this time with Codey Maus replacing Callan. The team finished second after the round robin with a 9-3 record. After defeating Ian Fitzner-LeBlanc's Nova Scotia rink in the semi-final, Bice lost in the final match, against Saskatchewan's Kyle George. Sean Beighton (born November 22, 1988) is an American curler from Seattle, Washington. Career During his years of junior eligibility, Beighton was active as a skip. He won the national junior championship in 2010, which gave him the opportunity to represent the United States at the 2010 World Junior Curling Championships, where he finished in ninth place with a 1–8 win–loss record. Beighton also skipped a team which included former national university champion Blake Morton at the qualifying tournament for the 2013 Winter University Games, but finished third. Josh Barry (born June 20, 1992 in Fredericton, New Brunswick) is a Canadian curler. Career Juniors Barry is a four-time New Brunswick junior champion, winning provincial championships between 2010 and 2013. At the 2010 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, he skipped his New Brunswick team of Chris Sleep, Blake Hunter and Alex Kyle to a 5–7 record. At the 2011 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, Barry threw fourth stones on a team skipped by Jon Rennie.
