Foreign Relations Of Ghana
The foreign relations of Ghana are controlled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana. The Mauritanian News Agency (AMI), () was established in 1975 under the name "Agence Mauritanienne de Presse" (AMP). It is the state-run and official news agency with headquarters based in Nouakchott. Kumasi (historically spelled Comassie or Coomassie, usually spelled Kumase in Twi) is a city in the Ashanti Region, and is among the largest metropolitan areas in Ghana. Kumasi is located in a rain forest region near Lake Bosomtwe, and is the commercial, industrial, and cultural capital of the historical Ashanti Empire.
