WildBrain Ltd. (formerly known as DHX Media, Ltd.) is a Canadian media, animation studio, production, and brand licensing company, mostly associated as an entertainment company. The company is known for owning the largest library of children's television programming, which is distributed through its multi-channel network, WildBrain Spark, and a group of Canadian specialty television channels. DHX was founded in 2006 when the entertainment entrepreneurs Michael Donovan and Steven DeNure gained control of Decode Entertainment and the Halifax Film Company. The Doozers
''The Doozers'' is a computer animated television series created by The Jim Henson Company. It is a spin-off of ''Fraggle Rock''. The series originally premiered in Australia on Nick Jr. on October 7, 2013. The series began its US run as a Hulu exclusive on April 25, 2014. On September 12, 2017, it was renewed for a second season. It premiered on May 25, 2018. Premise In the self-sustainable community of Doozer Creek located just beyond the view of humans, the show focuses on the Doozer Pod Squad (consisting of Daisy Wheel, Flex, Spike, and Mollybolt). ''Rainbow Ruby'' (; ) is a CGI animated television series aimed at children, produced by 38 °C Animation Studio and CJ E&M Corporation in South Korea, China Entertainment Corporation (a subsidiary of China ACG Group, which is an enterprise directly under the PRC Government's Ministry of Culture) in China and DHX Media in Canada. Plot At Ruby's house, a small event related to the main plot of each episode occurs, before a red jewelry on the chest of Choco, Ruby's Teddy bear, flashes with a melody. Ruby then takes Choco to her room, and the two 'transport' themselves to the Rainbow Village There, Ruby hears an explanation from Ling Ling, the mayor of Rainbow Village, and transforms herself using her Rainbow Roller into an appropriate clothing to solve problems. Radical Sheep Productions was a Canadian television production company known for producing series including '' The Next Step'', '' Stella and Sam'', and '' The Big Comfy Couch'', the latter a Gemini Award-winning series for preschoolers which produced seven seasons and aired for over ten years on YTV and Treehouse TV in Canada and public television stations in the United States. Among its early work, Radical Sheep made puppets used in the early 1990s educational video series ''The Adventures of Ruffus & Andy'', which marked early appearances of Ruffus the Dog. ''Kuu Kuu Harajuku'' is a Japanese-influenced animated children's television series created by singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani. It is based on her ''Harajuku Lovers'' merchandise brand, and the show doubles as a brand itself, with a line of tie-in products by Mattel. The show follows a teenage girl group called HJ5 and their manager Rudie as they live in a fantasy version of Tokyo called Harajuku City. Atomic Cartoons is a Canadian animation studio founded in 1999 by Trevor Bentley, Mauro Casalese, Olaf Miller, Adam Ronald, and Rob Davies. Based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, it produces service animation for a wide variety of clients, as well as creating its own properties. Since 2015, the company has been owned by Thunderbird Entertainment. History The studio was founded in March 1999 by Trevor Bentley, Mauro Casalese, Olaf Miller and Rob Davies.
