List Of Moscow Metro Stations
There are 250 active stations of the Moscow Metro. Of these, 209 on Moscow Metro proper, and some additional ones that are marketed by Moscow Metro: 6 stations of Moscow Monorail and 31 stations of the Moscow Central Circle. Two stations have been closed. As of 2017 several new stations are under construction or being planned. One station is reserved for future service ( Delovoy Tsentr for the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line). By number of stations the Moscow Metro is ranked 8th, cf. List of metro systems. The deepest station of Moscow Metro, Park Pobedy, is the third-deepest metro station of the world. Slavyansky Bulvar (russian: Славянский бульвар) is a Moscow Metro station in the Fili-Davydkovo District, Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow. Domodedovskaya
Domodedovskaya (russian: Домодедовская) is a Moscow Metro station in Orekhovo-Borisovo Severnoye and Orekhovo-Borisovo Yuzhnoye districts, Southern Administrative Okrug, Moscow. It is on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line, between Orekhovo and Krasnogvardeyskaya stations. The station opened on 7 September 1985. Name Domodedovskaya is named after Domodedovo International Airport, which is located some to the south of the station along the Kashirskoye Highway. Novokuznetskaya
Novokuznetskaya (russian: Новокузнецкая) is a Moscow Metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line. The station was opened on 20 November 1943. History Construction of the station began shortly after the launch of the second stage in 1938. Despite World War II the station was opened on time. Later in 1978 the platform was lengthened. This part is in a more modern style than the rest of the station. Design The station honors the Soviet fighting men with its heavy ornamentation. The architects, I. Taranov and N. Bykova, won a USSR State Prize for their design. The decorations include seven octagonal ceiling mosaics by Vladimir Frolov on the theme of wartime industry and bas-reliefs running along the base of the ceiling (by artists N.V. Tomsky, A.E. Olkhovaya (Moscow Metro)
Olkhovaya is a Moscow Metro station on the Sokolnicheskaya line. It was opened on 20 June 2019, as part of an extension that included Kommunarka, Prokshino, and Filatov Lug. Design Overall, the station features a tree-inspired theme. With white square tiles placed in "square diamond" positions, the walls of Olkhovaya station somewhat resemble Profsoyznaya metro station. However, the bottom edges are slightly pocking from the walls: this pattern resembles tree cones. The station's hall (not on photo) has amber-like mosaic featuring trees in autumn (with yellow/orange leaves). Luzhniki Metro Bridge (russian: Лужнецкий метромост), also known as Metromost (''Метромост''), is a concrete double-decked (two-level) arch bridge carrying a road and a Moscow Metro line across the Moskva River in Moscow, Russia.
