List Of Formula E Drivers
Formula E, abbreviated to FE, is the highest class of auto racing for electric cars defined by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), motorsport's world governing body. Each year, the FE World Championship season is held. It consists of a series of races, known as ePrix, held usually held on temporary street circuits within city centers. Drivers are awarded points based on their finishing position in each race, and the driver who accumulates the most points over each championship is crowned that year's Formula E World Drivers' Champion. As of the 2023 Cape Town ePrix, there have been 79 Formula E drivers from 21 different nationalities who have raced at least one of the 105 Formula E races since the first such event, the 2014 Beijing ePrix. Two-time champion Jean-Éric Vergne hold the record for the most championships. Formula E, officially the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, is a single-seater motorsport championship for electric cars. The series was conceived in 2011 in Paris by FIA president Jean Todt and Spanish businessman Alejandro Agag, who is also the current chairman of Formula E Holdings. Bruno Senna Lalli (, born 15 October 1983) is a Brazilian professional racing driver. He is the nephew of the late Ayrton Senna, three-time Formula One world champion. He is also the first man to win a race in every WEC class, and was the 2017 WEC world champion for the LMP2 class. Bruno Senna raced in Formula One from 2010 to 2012. 16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . Stoffel Vandoorne (born 26 March 1992) is a Belgian professional racing driver who is currently racing for Dragon Racing in Formula E. The 2019 New York City ePrix (formally the 2019 New York City E-Prix) were a pair of ePrix which were the final two races of the 2018–19 Formula E season held in Brooklyn, New York around the Brooklyn Street Circuit. The 2016 Hong Kong ePrix (formally the 2016 FIA Formula E HKT Hong Kong ePrix for sponsorship purposes) was a Formula E electric motor race held at the Hong Kong Central Harbourfront Circuit in Hong Kong before a crowd of 30,000 people on 9 October 2016. It was the first race of the 2016–17 Formula E Championship and the first edition of the event. The 45-lap race was won by e.Dams-Renault driver Sébastien Buemi who started from seventh place. José María "Pechito" López (born 26 April 1983) is an Argentine race car driver who is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Toyota Gazoo Racing and 2014–2016 World Touring Car Champion. He raced in the 2006 GP2 Series for the Super Nova team, and previously for the DAMS team, and the CMS team in Formula 3000. He was also at Renault F1 as a test driver.
