List Of Classic NES Series Games
This is a list of games that are part of the ''Classic NES Series'' in North America, in Japan, and ''NES Classics'' in Europe and Australia. The series consists of emulated Nintendo Entertainment System, Family Computer, and Family Computer Disk System games for the Game Boy Advance. A special edition Game Boy Advance SP that has a similar color pattern to an NES controller (along with a Famicom counterpart in Japan), was released to go along with these games. In Japan, the color of the cartridges often matches the color of their original Famicom cartridges, but in North America, all the games in this series were released in a light gray cartridges made to resemble the default color of NES cartridges. The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is an 8-bit third-generation home video game console produced by Nintendo. Mario Bros
is a 1983 arcade game developed and published for arcades by Nintendo. It was designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and Gunpei Yokoi, Nintendo's chief engineer. Italian twin brother plumbers Mario and Luigi exterminate creatures emerging from the sewers by knocking them upside-down and kicking them away. The Famicom/Nintendo Entertainment System version is the first game produced by Intelligent Systems. was a Japanese multinational corporation, multinational video game and entertainment company, headquartered in Ōta, Tokyo. originally called ''Puck Man'' in Japan, is a 1980 maze video game, maze action game, action video game developed and released by Namco for Arcade game, arcades. In North America, the game was released by Midway Manufacturing as part of its licensing agreement with Namco America. The player controls Pac-Man (character), Pac-Man, who must eat all the dots inside an enclosed maze while avoiding four colored Ghosts (Pac-Man), ghosts. Eating large flashing dots called "Power Pellets" causes the ghosts to temporarily turn blue, allowing Pac-Man to eat them for bonus points. Game development began in early 1979, directed by Toru Iwatani with a nine-man team. Bomberman (1983 Video Game)
is a maze video game developed and published by Hudson Soft. The original home computer game was released in July 1983 for the NEC PC-8801, NEC PC-6001 mkII, Fujitsu FM-7, Sharp MZ-700, Sharp MZ-2000, Sharp X1 and MSX in Japan, and a graphically modified version for the MSX and ZX Spectrum in Europe as ''Eric and the Floaters''. The Lost Levels
''Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels'' is a 1986 platform game developed and published by Nintendo as the sequel to '' Super Mario Bros.'' (1985). The games are similar in style and gameplay, with players controlling Mario or Luigi to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. ''The Lost Levels'' adds a greater level of difficulty and Luigi controls slightly differently from Mario, with reduced ground friction and increased jump height. , often simply referred to as ''Shin Onigashima'', is an adventure game developed by Nintendo R&D4 and Pax Softnica and published by Nintendo. It was first released on two disk cards for the Family Computer Disk System. The first disk was released on September 4, 1987, while the second disk was released September 30, 1987. The driving force behind the series, Tatsuya Hishida of Nintendo EAD, was responsible for directing the game, creating the characters, and crafting the storyline. Kieta is a port town located on the eastern coast of the island of Bougainville in Papua New Guinea, near the township of Arawa. After extensive destruction during the 1990 Civil Uprising on Bougainville, Kieta has few inhabitants now, and is known mainly for its transport connections (wharf and airfield).
