Alamgir (born 4 April 1950) is a Bangladeshi film actor and television host. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor and Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor a record nine times for his roles in the films ''Ma O Chhele'' (1985), ''Apekka'' (1987), ''Khotipuron'' (1989), ''Moroner Pore'' (1990), ''Pita Mata Santan'' (1991), ''Andha Biswas'' (1992) and '' Desh Premik'' (1994), ''Jibon Moroner Sathi'' (2010) and '' Ke Apon Ke Por'' (2011). Early life Alamgir was born on 4 April 1950 at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in Dhaka. His father, Kalim Uddin Ahmed, was an executive producer of '' Mukh O Mukhosh'', the first Bengali-language feature film to be made in Bangladesh. Afroza Sultana Ratna (known by her stage name Shabana) is a Bangladeshi film actress. She earned a total of ten Bangladesh National Film Awards. Her national film award-winning roles were in ''Janani'' (1977), ''Sokhi Tumi Kar'' (1980), ''Dui Poisar Alta'' (1982), ''Nazma'' (1983), '' Bhat De'' (1984), ''Apeksha'' (1987), ''Ranga Bhabi'' (1989), ''Moroner Pore'' (1990) and ''Achena'' (1991). Across her three-decade-long career, she appeared in 299 films. She co-starred with Alamgir in 130 of them. ''Abhijan'' ( bn, অভিযান) is a 1984 Bangladeshi film starring Ilias Kanchan and Anjana Sultana opposite him. Mahfuzur Rahman Khan bagged Bangladesh National Film Awards for Best Cinematographer. It is directed by Razzak and also stars Razzak, Jashim and Rozina. Synopsis Raju, Rauf and Ratan are three friends. The three of them started a new business together. They get a contract from Rahman to supply materials for his construction site. While traveling by river they rescue Kusum from the river. All three find a girl alone in their boat and try to seduce her. On the other hand, Rahman's old business enemy Sharif attacks them so that they cannot carry their goods properly. Ibne Mizan (7 October 1930 – 28 March 2017) was a Bangladeshi film director. He directed many films. He was known for directing folk fantasy films. His sister Mokbula Manzoor is an author. Biography Mizan was born on 7 October 1930 in Sirajganj. He was a student of Dhaka University's Bangla department. Mizan's first direction was an Urdu film titled ''Aur Gham Nehi''. This film was an unreleased film. Then, he directed ''Abar Bonobase Rupban''. This film is selected for preservation in Bangladesh Film Archive. The Bangladeshi Cinema, better known as Dhallywood ( bn, ঢালিউড), is the Bengali-language film industry based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It has often been a significant film industry since the early 1970s. The dominant style of Bangladeshi cinema is melodramatic cinema, which developed from 1947 to 1990 and characterizes most films to this day. Cinema was introduced in Bangladesh in 1898 by the Bradford Bioscope Company, credited to have arranged the first film release in Bangladesh.
