Alamgir (born 4 April 1950) is a Bangladeshi film actor and television host. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor and Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor a record nine times for his roles in the films ''Ma O Chhele'' (1985), ''Apekka'' (1987), ''Khotipuron'' (1989), ''Moroner Pore'' (1990), ''Pita Mata Santan'' (1991), ''Andha Biswas'' (1992) and '' Desh Premik'' (1994), ''Jibon Moroner Sathi'' (2010) and '' Ke Apon Ke Por'' (2011). Early life Alamgir was born on 4 April 1950 at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in Dhaka. His father, Kalim Uddin Ahmed, was an executive producer of '' Mukh O Mukhosh'', the first Bengali-language feature film to be made in Bangladesh. ''Opekkha'' ( bn, অপেক্ষা, ) is a 2010 Bangladeshi drama film written and directed by Abu Sayeed. The film stars Mirana Zaman, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Tinu Karim, and Uzzal Mahmud. Plot Rabiul and Ranju are two young men of two different districts of Bangladesh. Rabiul stays in Dhaka for his passion for singing. Chayanika Chowdhury (born 1 December) is a Bangladeshi television drama director. She has been directing television dramas since 2001, and as of September 2017, she has directed 347 dramas. Education Chowdhury graduated from Chhayanaut Sangeet Biddayatan for Rabindra Sangeet and then went to Santiniketan. Ranjan K Ghosh ( bn, রঞ্জন ঘোষ '' ''Rônjôn Ghosh'''') is a Bengali filmmaker based out of Kolkata, India. He made his directorial debut in 2014 with the critically acclaimed '' Hrid Majharey'', a Bengali feature film starring Abir Chatterjee and Raima Sen. Inspired by certain iconic plays of William Shakespeare, it was the first film in the Bengali language based on the works of the Bard and was presented as a tribute on his 450th Birth Anniversary.
