Jolshiri Abashon is a residential area developed by Jolshiri Abashon corporation, a sister corporation of Army Officers Housing Scheme, in Rupganj Upazila, Narayanganj District. It is exclusively built for Bangladesh Army officers. It was refereed by the name Army Housing Scheme in the past. History In 2010, Army Housing Scheme had purchased 1400 bigha for the Jolshiri residential project. Quarter Master General of Bangladesh Army was the Chairman for the Scheme. Purbachal New Town
Purbachal New Town Project or formerly Purbachal Residential Model Town is the biggest planned township in Bangladesh. The project area consists of about 6,227 acres (25 square kilometer) land located in between the Shitalakhya and the Balu River at Rupgonj thana of Narayanganj District and at Kaligonj Thana of Gazipur District, in the northeastern side of Dhaka. The Township will be linked with twelve-lane expressway from the Airport Road/Pragati swarani crossing. The distance is only 6.8 km. The Legacy Tower is an under-construction supertall skyscraper in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The skyscraper is a part of Bangabandhu tri-tower: alongside 71-floors Liberation Tower and 52-floors Language Tower and the centerpiece of US$12 billion central business district development project in Purbachal. The 111-floors tower will rise tall. The construction of the tri-towers officially commenced on 10 September 2020. The design, created by Heerim Architects and Planners of South Korea incorporates many unique structural and aesthetic features such as solar glass and automatic waste-management systems. Grameen Bank ( bn, গ্রামীণ ব্যাংক) is a microfinance organisation and community development bank founded in Bangladesh. It makes small loans (known as microcredit or "grameencredit") to the impoverished without requiring collateral.
