Mohammadpur ( bn, মোহাম্মদপুর) is a thana of Dhaka District in the division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Although initially Mohammadpur had grown as a residential area, subsequent commercial places have also been developed as well. Farmgate
Farmgate is a area in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is one of the busiest and most crowded areas of Dhaka city. From the early 90s', the area has seen the massive building and construction boom. Consequently, the area has gained commercial importance and has become one of the major transportation hubs of Dhaka from where anyone can travel to all other parts of the city as well as throughout the country. Tejgaon ( bn, তেজগাঁও) is a thana of Dhaka District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is in the centre of Dhaka, the capital. In 2006, the boundaries of the thana were redrawn when Tejgaon Industrial Area Thana was created out of the former larger area and again in 2009 when Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana was created. Khilkhet Thana ( bn, খিলক্ষেত থানা) is a ''thana'' (sub-district) of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was created in 2005. Geography Khilkhet Thana has a total area of . Dakshinkhan Adarsha ( bn, দক্ষিণখান আদর্শ, Dokkhinkhan Adorsho) is a union parishad of Dhaka Metropolitan North, Dhaka District, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Bashundhara ( bn, বসুন্ধরা আবাসিক এলাকা) is an upscale residential area in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The area is developed by Bashundhara Group. The project of Basundhara was started in the 1980s. In 2011 portions of the housing project was declared illegal as they were considerable flood flow zones of Dhaka.
