Lindsay Dubue
Lindsay Dubue () (born July 23, 1999) is a Canadian curler from Ottawa, Ontario. She currently plays second on Team Clancy Grandy. Career Dubue played in three Canadian Junior Curling Championships during her junior career in 2017, 2018 and 2020. In 2017, playing second for Hailey Armstrong, she won the silver medal after losing the final Alberta's Kristen Streifel. In both 2018 and 2020, she missed the playoffs playing for Emma Wallingford and Kira Brunton respectively. Also during the 2019–20 season, Team Brunton defeated Cathy Auld in the final of the 2019 Stu Sells Toronto Tankard on the World Curling Tour. During the 2019–20 season, Dubue got to spare for Joanne Courtney on the Rachel Homan rink during the 2019 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic. Kira Brunton
Kira Michaela Brunton (born March 17, 1999) is a Canadian curler originally from Sudbury, Ontario. She currently plays third on Team Danielle Inglis. In 2015, she won the gold medal at the 2015 Canada Winter Games playing third for Megan Smith. Career Brunton made her first national appearance at the 2015 Canada Winter Games where she played third for Megan Smith. After a 6–0 round robin record, they defeated Saskatchewan in the semifinal and Nova Scotia in the final to claim the gold medal. The following season, she qualified for both the 2016 U18 International Curling Championships and the 2016 Canadian Junior Curling Championships where she missed the playoffs at both events. DeKalb Superspiel
The DeKalb Superspiel is a curling bonspiel that takes place at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Manitoba. It was an event on the World Curling Tour until 2019 and the Manitoba Curling Tour, and also takes part in the Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS). There is a men's and women's event. The event began in 2009 and is annually held usually the third weekend in November but is subject to changes if the WCT or MCA has a conflicting bonspiel. Jennifer Jones (curler)
Jennifer Judith Jones OM (born July 7, 1974) is a Canadian curler. She was the Olympic champion in curling as skip of the Canadian team at the 2014 Sochi Games. Jones is the first female skip to go through the Games undefeated. The only male skip to achieve this was fellow Canadian Kevin Martin in 2010. Jones and her squad were the first Manitoba based curling team to win an Olympic gold medal. They won the 2008 World Women's Curling Championship and were the last Canadian women's team to do so until Rachel Homan in 2017. She won a second world championship in 2018. Jones represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Emily Deschenes
Emily Deschenes (born December 25, 2002) is a Canadian curler from Ottawa, Ontario. Career Deschenes skipped her rink to silver at the 2019 Canadian U18 Curling Championships in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Deschenes was selected to represent Canada in the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland. The rink, skipped by Nathan Young, went undefeated in the round robin, before falling to Japan in the quarter finals. Following the mixed competition, Deschenes competed in Mixed Doubles with Oriol Gasto (Spain). Deschenes capped the 2020 season with a victory at the 2020 Ontario Winter Games. Deschenes entered the 2020–21 season with a new rink. Tracy Fleury
Tracy Fleury (born June 13, 1986, as Tracy Horgan) is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. She joined the Rachel Homan rink as skip for the 2022–23 season. In 2021, she led her team to a silver medal at the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials. She has competed at the Canadian national championship five times and was the Northern Ontario women's junior champion skip from 2005 to 2007. Fleury represented Northern Ontario at three Canadian Junior Curling Championships during her junior career (2005, 2006 and 2007). She aged out of juniors in 2008 and began skipping her own rink on the Ontario and World Curling Tour's. Rachel Homan
Rachel Catherine Homan (born April 5, 1989) is a Canadian international curler. Homan is a former Canadian junior champion, a three-time Canadian national champion, and the 2017 world champion, all as a skip. She was also the skip of the Canadian women's curling team at the 2018 Winter Olympics. During her junior career, Homan competed in two Canadian Junior Curling Championships, placing second in 2009 and winning the championship in 2010. She also won a silver medal at the 2010 World Junior Curling Championships. Joanne M. Courtney (born March 7, 1989 as Joanne Taylor) is a Canadian curler from Edmonton, Alberta. From 2014 to 2022, she was a member of the Rachel Homan rink which won the 2017 World Women's Curling Championship and represented Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics. In 2023, she became a curling analyst for TSN, with the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts becoming the first event she covered for the network. World Curling Tour
The World Curling Tour (WCT) is a group of curling bonspiels featuring the best male, female, and mixed doubles curlers in the world. History The World Curling Tour was founded by former World Champion Ed Lukowich, with later assistance from John Kawaja. The World Curling Tour commenced in 1992, with men's events only at first. It replaced the "Canadian Curling Tour" held the previous season. The first season consisted of 48 events (with only one outside Canada), and was sponsored by Seagram's distillery. Teams earned points in every event with the top 30 qualifying for the season ending " V.O. Cup", today known as the Players' Championship. Its first president and CEO was Lukowich.
