Lindani Ndwandwe
Lindani Ndwandwe (born 26 February 1975) is a South African professional golfer. Golf career Ndwandwe grew up in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal. He was introduced to the game by his brother Mandla who would use sticks and bottles as golf clubs and golf balls. He honed his skills as a caddie at Durban Country Club and Beachwood Golf Club. In 1997, Ndwandwe won two elite amateur events, the Natal Match Play and Natal Stroke Play events. He turned pro two years later and qualified for the Sunshine Tour in 2000. Ndwandwe won the 2001 Western Cape Classic by a stroke over Richard Kaplan. He was the second black man to win on the Sunshine Tour. Nongoma
Nongoma is a town in Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is the seat of the Nongoma Local Municipality. It is situated 300 km north of Durban and 56 km from Ulundi; it is surrounded by the Ngome Forest. It is a busy market town that serves a large surrounding area. 2006–07 Sunshine Tour
The 2006–07 Sunshine Tour was the seventh season of professional golf tournaments since the southern Africa based Sunshine Tour was rebranded in 2000. It marked the last year of a seasonal calendar. The Sunshine Tour represents the highest level of competition for male professional golfers in the region. In 2005–06 there had been 21 tournaments. Of those, two tournaments were last held in 2005, but there were eight tournaments added for the 2006–07 schedule bringing the total up to 27. The tour was based predominantly in South Africa, with 24 of the 27 tournaments being held in the country. One event each was held in Swaziland, Zambia and Namibia. The 2009 Sunshine Tour was the tenth season of professional golf tournaments since the southern Africa based Sunshine Tour was relaunched in 2000, and the third since the tour switched a calendar based season in 2007. The Sunshine Tour represents the highest level of competition for male professional golfers in the region. The tour was based predominantly in South Africa, with 26 of the 30 tournaments being held in the country. Two events were held in Swaziland, with one each in Zambia and Namibia. As usual, the tour consisted of two distinct parts, commonly referred to as the "Summer Swing" and "Winter Swing".
