Lie Lover Lie
Lie Lover Lie is the second album by The Blood Arm. It was released in 2006. Release and reception The album received mainly positive reviews. British newspaper The Guardian awarded the album full marks, describing it as "an alternative dancefloor gem". Jeff Terich of Treble called the album "ecstatic, extravagant rock `n' roll", praising the band's ability to "lay down some fuckin' hits" and declaring them "the band that is giving rock a much-needed kick in the pants". British music magazine NME were also quick to praise the band, noting their "absolutely spiffo corkers-to-hummers ratio". In 2007, the band played on an NME sponsored Rock 'N' Roll Riot US Tour alongside The Hold Steady, Demander, Federale, 1990s and Art Brut. The Blood Arm are an American five-piece rock band from Los Angeles, California, currently residing in Berlin, Germany. At present, they have released five albums. Their music has been likened to "James Brown fronting Talking Heads and singing Fall songs" by the ''NME'' and they are renowned for their extremely energetic live performances. 1990s are an indie rock three-piece band from Glasgow, Scotland. History They were signed to Rough Trade Record Company (home of many notable acts such as The Strokes and The Long Blondes) when they were spotted at only their sixth gig (a first for Rough Trade) and released two albums, ''Cookies'' and ''Kicks''. Lead singer Jackie (aka John) McKeown and bassist, Jamie McMorrow, were the founding members of Scottish indie band The Yummy Fur. The line-up over the years that The Yummy Fur existed changed on numerous occasions. Guitars
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. Art Brut are a Berlin-based English and German indie rock band.
