Lindi Ortega
Lindi Ortega (born May 28, 1980) is a Canadian country singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario, who had lived in Nashville, Tennessee then moved to Western Canada in 2017. She spent nearly a decade as an independent artist in the Toronto music scene, releasing two albums and an EP in that time. She has been described as "Toronto's best kept secret" and nicknamed "Indie Lindi". Ortega left Last Gang management and records in November 2017. She has since released Til The Goin' Gets Gone EP and her full-length Liberty on her own label Shadowbox Music. Her voice has been described as a blend of Dolly Parton's, Johnny Cash's, and Emmylou Harris'. At the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011, Ortega toured extensively as a backup singer for Brandon Flowers, the lead singer of the Killers, in support of his solo album, ''Flamingo''. Ortega recorded ''Faded Gloryville'' in spurts, splitting the workload between three different producers. Dave Cobb, who'd sat behind the boards for ''Tin Star'', recorded three songs at the Sound Emporium in Nashville, while Colin Linden, the producer of Ortega's 2012 release, ''Cigarettes & Truckstops'', recorded four. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. Weighted Arithmetic Mean
The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several other areas of mathematics. If all the weights are equal, then the weighted mean is the same as the arithmetic mean. Violeta del Carmen Parra Sandoval (; 4 October 1917 – 5 February 1967) was a Chilean composer, singer-songwriter, folklorist, ethnomusicologist and visual artist. Savannah Conley (born 1997) is an American folk, country, and pop music singer-songwriter. Conley has released four EP albums. ''Twenty-Twenty'', was released in April 2018 as her debut major-label EP with Low Country Sound, an imprint of Elektra, and she has since recorded two more EPs. Early life Conley was born and raised twenty miles outside of Nashville, Tennessee into a family with strong appreciation for music.
