Lefa (rapper)
Karim Fall, better known by his stage name Lefa (born 28 November 1985 in Paris), is a French rapper and dancer. He is a founding member of the French rap / hip hop collective Sexion d'Assaut. He has also released solo materials in 2015 and 2016. In June 2015 he released his debut solo album ''Monsieur Fall'' with big commercial success. He was born to the Senegalese jazz musician Cheikh Tidiane Fall and his mother was a French choreographer and art therapist Christiane de Rougemont. He grew up in the 18e arrondissement of Paris and his beginnings were in breakdance. He has closely collaborated with artists Black M and Gims, also members of Sexion d'Assaut, appearing on many of their albums. His friend Maître Gims named him Lefa (French slang for Fall, Lefa's family name). Sexion D'Assaut
Sexion d'Assaut (), formerly known as 3ème Prototype (for "Troisième Prototype" ; en, "3rd Prototype"), is a French hip hop band formed in 2002, composed of eight Paris, Parisian rappers. They are signed to independent record label Wati B, which is under exclusive license to Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment France. The founding members were L.I.O. Pétrodollars, Black M, Maska (rapper), Maska and Lefa (rapper), Lefa. In 2003, it became a collective as Maître Gims and JR O Crom joined in. Wati B () is an independent French record label established in 2000 by Dawala and rap band Intouchable. "Wati B" comes from , a Bamanankan expression that means "all the time". Dawala directs the operations of the label. Due to the popularity of its signed acts across the French-speaking world, Wati B established its own "Wati B" line of fashion apparel with the first "Wati Boutique" opened on 1 February 2011 in Paris. The Shin Sekaï is a French singing / rapping fusion duo made up of Dadju (vocals) and Abou Tall (rap). The band's name means "New World" in Japanese (新世界, ), and was taken from a fictional territory in the popular manga series ''One Piece''. Shin Sekaï were signed to French independent label Wati B. Dosseh Dorian N'Goumou (; born 26 January 1985) is a French rapper, singer, film producer and actor. He is the younger brother of Pit Baccardi. Dosseh was born in Orléans, and raised in Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle, Centre. Valentin Le Du (; born 15 July 1992), better known by his stage name Vald (; sometimes stylized as VALD), is a French rapper. Born in Aulnay-sous-Bois, in Seine-Saint-Denis, Île-de-France, he studied at ''Lycée privé catholique l'Espérance'' where he received a Baccalauréat S (Sciences).
