Lee Feldman (businessman)
Lee Michael Feldman (born 1967/1968) is an American lawyer and businessman, and the chairman of GVC Holdings, the FTSE 100 Index gambling conglomerate, and the managing partner of the private equity firm, Twin Lakes Capital Management, LLC. Early life Feldman earned a bachelor's degree and a juris doctor in law, both from Columbia University. Career Feldman started his career as a corporate lawyer for O'Sullivan, Graev and Karabell. In December 2004, Feldman joined GVC Holdings, and has been non-executive chairman since September 2008. In 2007, Feldman co-founded the private equity firm, Twin Lakes Capital Management, LLC. From at least 2008 to 2012, Feldman was CEO of Aurora Brands, which owns the home furnishing brands MacKenzie-Childs and Jay Strongwater. In 2017, Feldman and the CEO of GVC, Kenny Alexander earned a total of £26.9 million, and 44% of shareholders voted against the company's remuneration report. Entain plc, formerly GVC Holdings, is an international sports betting and gambling company. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. An aurora (plural: auroras or aurorae), also commonly known as the polar lights, is a natural light display in Earth's sky, predominantly seen in high-latitude regions (around the Arctic and Antarctic). Auroras display dynamic patterns of brilliant lights that appear as curtains, rays, spirals, or dynamic flickers covering the entire sky. Auroras are the result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by the solar wind. MacKenzie-Childs, Ltd. is a manufacturer of ceramics and retailer of hand-painted imported furniture and home décor, based in Aurora, New York, and founded in 1983 by Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs. The company entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2000, and in 2001 Pleasant Rowland, founder of American Girl, purchased MacKenzie-Childs, Ltd. In 2005, the company laid off several workers. A jay is a member of a number of species of medium-sized, usually colorful and noisy, passerine birds in the Crow family, Corvidae. The evolutionary relationships between the jays and the magpies are rather complex. Kenneth Jack (Kenny) Alexander (born April 1969) is a British businessman, and was the chief executive (CEO) of GVC Holdings, a gambling company based in the Isle of Man, from 2007 to 2020. Early life Kenneth Jack Alexander was born in April 1969, in Ayrshire, Scotland. He grew up in North Ayrshire, and earned a bachelor's degree in accountancy from the University of Glasgow. Career In 1991, he joined the accountants Grant Thornton, where he worked for five years and qualified as a chartered accountant. In 1996, he joined Hazlewood Foods as a financial controller.
