Lav pivo ( sr-cyr, Лав пиво) is a Serbian beer brand. Produced and bottled by Carlsberg Srbija in the town of Čelarevo ( Bačka Palanka municipality), it has the second-biggest market share among the beer brands in Serbia, behind their rivals Jelen. ''Lav'' means ' lion' in Serbian. In addition to Serbia, it is also widespread in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Lav used to sponsor the Serbia national football team. Lav's television campaign features a series of commercials featuring actor Nenad Jezdić Nenad Jezdić ( sr-cyr, Ненад Јездић; born 12 July 1972) is a Serbian actor. Lager () is beer which has been brewed and conditioned at low temperature. Lagers can be pale, amber, or dark. Pale lager is the most widely consumed and commercially available style of beer. Čelarevo ( sr-Cyrl, Челарево) is a village located in the Bačka Palanka municipality, in the South Bačka District of Serbia. It is situated in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The Serbia national football team ( sr, Фудбалска репрезентација Србије, Fudbalska reprezentacija Srbije) represents Serbia in men's international football competition.
