''Laugh! Laugh! Laugh!'' (Italian: ''Ridere! Ridere! Ridere!'') is a 1954 Italian comedy film directed by Edoardo Anton and starring Tino Scotti, Ugo Tognazzi and Carlo Dapporto. The film's sets were designed by the art director Beni Montresor. It was shot in Ferraniacolor. Plot Mr. Spinotti travels on a train. He passes the inspector and asks the users for their tickets. Our protagonist argues with the inspector, but little by little he begins to tell stories and jokes to those present. Edoardo Anton
Edoardo Anton (7 January 1910 - 11 May 1986) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. Background Born in Rome as Edoardo Antonelli, Anton was the son of the playwright and journalist Luigi Antonelli. He entered the cinema industry in mid-thirties and soon became a prolific screenwriter specialized in comedy films. His work as filmmaker is marginal, mainly confined to the co-direction of a few international co-productions; the only work entirely attributable to him is '' Il lupo della frontiera''. Luigi Bonos
Luigi Bonos (1910–2000) was an Italian comedian and stage, television and film actor. He appeared in more than 70 films between 1945 and 1992. Born in Berlin, Germany, the son of two Hungarian circus artists, along with his brothers Vittorio (1908 - 1966) and Giovanni (1907-1956) Bonos formed a trio of comedians who met large success in the avanspettacolo and revue theater between the 1930s and 1940s. He made his film debut in 1951, and since then he appeared in dozens of comedy films, usually as a character actor. He died in 2000. Alberto Talegalli (2 October 1913 – 10 July 1961) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in 37 films between 1952 and 1961. He was born in Pincano (Spoleto), Italy and died in Gualdo Tadino, in the province of Perugia, Italy. Life and career After graduating from the liceo scientifico Talegalli became a bank clerk and a journalist for RAI television. After moving to Rome to pursue his passion for acting, he got the success thanks to Sor Clemente, a macchietta he created and successfully performed on stage, television, radio and in two comedy films by Camillo Mastrocinque. Mario Riva (26 January 1913 – 1 September 1960) was an Italian television presenter and actor. He appeared in 51 films between 1941 and 1960. Life and career Born in Rome as Mariuccio Bonavolontà, the son of a composer, Giuseppe (Joseph) Bonavolonta (b.1885) and his wife Teresa Chinzari. His father composed over 500 popular tunes including "Goodbye Nemi" and "Fiocca Snow". Mario attended St Joseph College in Piazza di Spagna in Rome. Born in Milan, Italy, she married actor Raimondo Vianello in 1962. Beni Montresor (31 March 1926 – 11 October 2001) was a versatile Italian artist, opera and film director, set designer, author and children's book illustrator. He won the 1965 Caldecott Medal for U.S. picture book illustration, recognizing '' May I Bring a Friend?''. The Italian government knighted him in 1966 for his contributions to the arts.
