''Laugh! Laugh! Laugh!'' (Italian: ''Ridere! Ridere! Ridere!'') is a 1954 Italian comedy film directed by Edoardo Anton and starring Tino Scotti, Ugo Tognazzi and Carlo Dapporto. The film's sets were designed by the art director Beni Montresor. It was shot in Ferraniacolor. Plot Mr. Spinotti travels on a train. He passes the inspector and asks the users for their tickets. Our protagonist argues with the inspector, but little by little he begins to tell stories and jokes to those present. Edoardo Anton (7 January 1910 – 11 May 1986) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. Background Born in Rome as Edoardo Antonelli, Anton was the son of the playwright and journalist Luigi Antonelli. He entered the cinema industry in mid-thirties and soon became a prolific screenwriter specialized in comedy films. His work as filmmaker is marginal, mainly confined to the co-direction of a few international co-productions; the only work entirely attributable to him is '' Il lupo della frontiera''. Raimondo Vianello
Raimondo Vianello (7 May 1922 – 15 April 2010) was an Italian film actor, comedian, and television host. He was a well-known Italian television personality. Biography He was born in Rome, but spent his youth in Pula, where his father, an Admiral of the Regia Marina, directed the local naval academy. During World War II he joined the Italian Social Republic, the fascist puppet state established in northern Italy after the Allied invasion of Italy. He was captured by American troops. In 1958 he met actress Sandra Mondaini, whom he married four years later, and with whom he frequently appeared in TV shows during his whole career. Raffaele Pisu (24 May 1925 – 31 July 2019) was an Italian actor and comedian. Life and career Born in Bologna as Guerrino Pisu into a family of Sardinian origin, Pisu debuted in the drama theater and in 1945 he was one of the founders of the stage company L'attico. He later focused on the avanspettacolo, working with the Nava Sisters, Isa Barzizza and Wanda Osiris. Paolo Ferrari (actor)
Paolo Ferrari (26 February 1929 – 6 May 2018) was an Italian actor, voice actor and television presenter. Biography Ferrari was born in Brussels as his father was at the time the Italian consul in the Belgian Congo, and was in Belgium for a diplomatic mission. His mother, Giulietta, was a concert pianist. He made his acting debut at 9 years old, in Alessandro Blasetti's '' Ettore Fieramosca'' and he appeared in over 45 films between 1938 and 2018. He became first known as "the balilla Paolo", a character he played in numerous radio programs for children and teenagers during the fascist era. After the war he studied at the Silvio d’Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts. Ferrari died in Monterotondo on 6 May 2018, at the age of 89. Vittorio Bonos
Luigi Bonos (1910–2000) was an Italian comedian and stage, television and film actor. He appeared in more than 70 films between 1945 and 1992. Born in Berlin, Germany, the son of two Hungarian circus artists, along with his brothers Vittorio (1908 - 1966) and Giovanni (1907-1956) Bonos formed a trio of comedians who met large success in the avanspettacolo and revue theater between the 1930s and 1940s.
