Latour-de-Carol-Enveitg Station
Latour-de-Carol-Enveitg (Catalan: La Tor de Querol-Enveig) or Latour-de-Carol is a railway station in Enveitg and Latour-de-Carol, Occitanie, France. It is the current terminus of three lines. France's SNCF operates TER (local) services on the Portet-Saint-Simon–Puigcerdà railway (from Toulouse-Matabiau) and on the Ligne de Cerdagne known as ''Train Jaune'' (from Villefranche-de-Conflent, with connections to Perpignan). Spain's Renfe Operadora runs Rodalies de Catalunya trains from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat on the Barcelona commuter rail line R3. SNCF also runs Intercités de Nuit night trains to Paris. Latour-de-Carol is one of the few stations in the world with three different gauges. Enveitg
Enveitg (; , ) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. Geography Localization Enveitg is located in the canton of Les Pyrénées catalanes and in the arrondissement of Prades. Transport Latour-de-Carol-Enveitg train station is adjacent to the village. The station has the distinction of serving three separate routes (SNCF from Toulouse, RENFE from Barcelona and the Train Jaune from Villefranche-de-Conflent), each with a different track gauges. This requires through passengers and freight to change trains. In addition, before Spain's accession to the European Union and the Schengen Agreement, customs and immigration checks were performed; these are no longer necessary, so the people required for these have been withdrawn, leading to a decline in population and activity. Embarcadero station is a combined BART and Muni Metro rapid transit station in the Market Street subway. Located under Market Street between Drumm Street and Beale Street near The Embarcadero, it serves the Financial District neighborhood and surrounding areas. Powell Street station (often Powell station) is a combined BART and Muni Metro rapid transit station in the Market Street subway. Located under Market Street between 4th Street and 5th Street, it serves the Financial District neighborhood and surrounding areas. The three-level station has a large fare mezzanine level, with separate platform levels for Muni Metro and BART below. The fare mezzanine also connects to the Union Square/Market Street station.
