Lars Van Meijel
Lars van Meijel (born 12 June 1994) is a Dutch professional golfer who plays on the Challenge Tour. He won the 2019 Open de Provence. Amateur career Van Meijel was a member of the Dutch National Team, and represented the Netherlands three times at the European Boys' Team Championship 2010–2012 and four times at the European Amateur Team Championship 2013–2016. He also played in the Eisenhower Trophy twice, 2014 in Japan and 2016 in Mexico. In 2012, Van Meijel won the Gran Premio Padova, reached the quarterfinals of the Italian Amateur, and played the Talihade Cup in Argentina. In 2013, he won both the Trompbeker (Dutch National U21 Stroke Play Championship) at the Noord-Nederlandse Golf Club and the Dutch National Stroke Play Championship at Golfclub Houtrak. The 2018 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2018 season. 2014 European Amateur Team Championship
The 2014 European Amateur Team Championship took place 8–12 July at Linna Golf Oy in Hämeenlinna, Finland. It was the 31st men's golf European Amateur Team Championship. Venue The course, situated 5 kilometres east of Hämeenlinna, located in the historical province of Tavastia and the modern province of Kanta-Häme in the south of Finland, 98 kilometres north of Helsinki, was designed by Tim Lobb in cooperation with European Tour Design and opened in 2005. Format Each team consisted of 6 players, playing two rounds of stroke-play over two days, counting the five best scores each day for each team. 2013 European Amateur Team Championship
The 2013 European Amateur Team Championship took place 9–13 July at Silkeborg Ry Golf Club in Silkeborg, located in the middle of the Jutlandic peninsula, Denmark. It was the 30th men's golf European Amateur Team Championship. Venue The club was founded as Silkeborg Golf Club in 1965 and its first 18-hole course was fully developed in 1968. In early 2013 the club merged with Ry Golf Club and under the new name Silkeborg Ry Golf Club expanded to 54 holes. Format The number of entering nation teams was, for the first time limited to 16. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Sebastian Heisele (born 8 August 1988) is a German professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2019 Open de Bretagne on the Challenge Tour. Amateur career Heisele was born in the Netherlands and grew up in Dubai, playing golf from the age of 12. He attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2007 to 2011, graduating with a bachelor's degree in architecture. In 2011, while still an amateur, he won the Schloss Moyland Golfresort Classic on the Pro Golf Tour, beating Christoph Günther in a playoff.
