Lamberto Zauli
Lamberto Zauli (born 19 July 1971) is an Italian professional football coach and former player who is the head coach of club Crotone. As a player, he spent his career as an attacking midfielder, but was also capable of playing on the left wing on occasion. Club career Born in Rome, Lamberto grew up in Grosseto, playing in the youth squad of U.S. Grosseto, the same club of his father Lorenzo. His professional career began in the youth squad of Modena, during the 1989–90 season down in Serie C1. He moved into the Serie C2 division with Centese he notched up over 20 games with the club during the only season he was with them. Marche club Fano then signed Zauli, but, despite his potential, he only played one season for them: returning to Modena, who were now in Serie B. He soon moved to Ravenna Calcio, being also loaned to Crevalcore after one season. Serie C1
Lega Pro Prima Divisione was the third highest football (soccer), football league in Italy. It consisted of 33 teams, divided geographically into two divisions of 16 and 17 teams for group A and B respectively. Until 2008 it was known as Serie C1. Before the 1978–79 season there were only three leagues of professional football in Italy, the third being Serie C. In 1978, it was decided to split Serie C into Serie C1 and Serie C2. Serie C2, the fourth highest professional league in the Italian system, was also renamed in 2008 and was called Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. Lega Pro Seconda Divisione was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status. Usually it consisted of 36 teams, but in the 2011–12 season, there were 41 teams divided geographically into two divisions of 20 and 21. Group A covered northern and north-central Italy, Group B south-central and southern Italy. Until the 2007–08 season, the league was known as Serie C2. Before the 1978–79 season, there were only three professional football leagues in Italy, the third being Serie C. The 2003–04 Serie B is the 72nd season since its establishment in 1929. It is the second highest football league in Italy. This 46 matchdays championship was the longest tournament in all the history of the Italian football. The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was a European football club competition contested annually by the winners of domestic cup competitions. The cup was, chronologically, the second seasonal inter-European club competition organised by UEFA. The tournament ran for 39 seasons, with the final edition held in 1998–99, after which it was discontinued. The first tournament was held in 1960–61, but it was organised by the Mitropa Cup's Organising Committee and not recognised by the governing body of European football until 1963, when it was accepted as a UEFA competition on the initiative of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). The Serie A (), also called Serie A TIM for national sponsorship with TIM, is a professional league competition for football clubs located at the top of the Italian football league system and the winner is awarded the Scudetto and the Coppa Campioni d'Italia.
