Laadla (1966 Film)
''Laadla'' is a 1966 Hindi-language film directed by Krishnan–Panju and produced by AVM Productions. It is a remake of the Tamil film '' Annai'' (1962), which itself was a remake of the Bengali film ''Maya Mriga'' (1960). Sudhir Kumar Sawant, who played the role in Dosti movie is also played the role in this movie. The film is remembered for Balraj Sahni, Nirupa Roy and Sudhir Kumar class act. Synopsis Seeta marries a poor man against her family's wishes and becomes pregnant. Savitri, her sister, is childless and yearns to have a baby so Seeta gives away her child to her sister. She names the child Darshan. Now what will be the result when Darshan will know about his real identity? Krishnan–Panju
R. Krishnan (1909–1997) and S. Panju (1915–1984), collectively referred to as Krishnan–Panju, were Indian film directors. The duo directed more than 50 films in South Indian languages and in Hindi. Early life R. Krishnan was born on 18 July 1909 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Previously, he was in charge of the laboratory in Pakshiraja Studios (then known as Kandhan studio) in Coimbatore. S. Panju was born on 24 January 1915 as Panchapakesan in Umayalpuram near Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. Previously, he worked as an assistant editor under P. K. Raja Sandow and as assistant director under Ellis R. Dungan. He was also a film editor who edited films under the name Punjabi or Panjabi. Mohammed Umar Mukri (5 January 1922 – 4 September 2000), popularly known as Mukri, was an Indian actor, who worked as a comedian in Hindi films. Born as Muhammad Umar Mukri in Uran, in Kokani Muslim Family. He started his film career with the film ''Pratima'' along with noted film actor Dilip Kumar in 1945. They were schoolmates together in the past. Subsequently, in career spanning 50 years, he acted in over 600 films. Rajinder Krishan Duggal (6 June 1919 – 23 September 1987) also credited as Rajendra Krishan, was an Indian poet, lyricist and screenwriter. Biography Rajinder Krishan was born in a Duggal family at Jalalpur Jattan on 6 June 1919, in Gujrat District (in present-day Pakistan). Even when he was studying in the eighth class he was attracted towards poetry. In his early work life he had a clerk's job in the municipal office in Simla, where he toiled up to 1942. During that period, he read eastern and western authors extensively and wrote poetry. He expresses his indebtedness to the Urdu poetry of Firaq Gorakhpuri and Ahsan Danish, as well as to the Hindi poems of Pant and Nirala.
