La Coronilla is a village in the Rocha Department of southeastern Uruguay. Rocha Department
Rocha () is a department in the east of Uruguay. Its capital is the city of Rocha. The Köppen climate classification is one of the most widely used climate classification systems. Uruguay's calling code is +598. Since 2010, national long distance calling was eliminated, thus there are no area codes in each city. Landline telephony ANTEL (Spanish abbreviation for National Administration of Telecommunications) is Uruguay's state-owned company for telecommunications. Previously in Uruguay, phone numbers used to have between 4 and 7 digits. To make a local phone call, you only had to dial those digits. Route 9 is a national route of Uruguay. In 1975, it was assigned the name Coronel Leonardo Olivera, a national hero of Uruguay. It connects Dr. Francisco Soca with Chuy in the northeast. Chuy
Chuy () is a city in the extreme east of Uruguay, in the Rocha Department, northeast of Montevideo. It lies on the border with Brazil, separated from its Brazilian sister town of Chuí only by a shared avenue that serves as the border, and by the Arroyo Chuy (stream) to the east. Chuy's population is currently 9,675 residents as of 2011. Etymology The word "Chuy", according to most scholars, comes from the Tupi–Guarani language. The Indians had designated the small brook on whose banks the town would emerge with the same name.
