LGBT Network
The LGBT Network was an LGBT rights charity based in Scotland. The LGBT Network was founded as a not for profit organisation in April 2008 and operated throughout Europe and was credited with launching a petition for same-sex marriage at the Scottish Parliament in January 2009. The Chairperson of the LGBT Network was Rob McDowall, who is Director of SIACC, Board Member of Partners in Advocacy and a member of the Equality Council. McDowall launched a petition in 2008 calling on the Scottish Parliament to lift the ban on gay and bisexual men donating blood. The Scottish Parliament ( gd, Pàrlamaid na h-Alba ; sco, Scots Pairlament) is the devolved, unicameral legislature of Scotland. Ross Finnie
James Ross Finnie (born 11 February 1947) is a Scottish Liberal Democrat politician and a former Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP). He is a former Minister for the Environment and Rural Development in the Scottish Executive, and Member of the Scottish Parliament for the West of Scotland region. He became an MSP in the first elections to the Scottish Parliament in 1999, and held the same ministerial portfolio until May 2007. Background Finnie was educated at Greenock Academy. Alyn Smith
Alyn Edward Smith (born 15 September 1973) is a Scottish politician. A member of the Scottish National Party (SNP), he was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Stirling at the 2019 general election. He also served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Scotland from 2004 to 2019. He has been serving as SNP Spokesperson for Europe and EU Accession since December 2022. Struan John Stirton Stevenson (born 4 April 1948) is a Scottish politician.
