Løgstør is a town in Denmark with a population of 3,967 (1 January 2022) It is located 47 km west of Aalborg and 64 km north of Viborg. Løgstør's city centre consists of old streets with small houses built in the 1800s for fishermen and sailors. One of these houses was donated by Danish housemen to the author and poet Johan Skjoldborg (1861 - 1936) in 1918, who lived in the house until his death. It is located on Johan Skjoldborgs Vej. History The name ''Løgstør ''is mentioned for the first time in 1514, where the city is described as a fishing village. Later, the site developed into a charging and trading space, and in 1523 the city became a customs office. A fishing village is a village, usually located near a fishing ground, with an economy based on catching fish and harvesting seafood. Jens Lauritzen (born December 3, 1953) is a Danish politician who has been Mayor of the Vesthimmerland Municipality from 2006 to 2010, he is/was from Venstre. Lauritzen is educated in agriculture. Livø
Livø () is a 320-hectare Danish island with approximately 10-year-round residents. The island is located centrally in the Limfjord, about 20 minutes by boat from Rønbjerg, and approximately midway between Nykøbing Mors, Løgstør, Fjerritslev and Thisted. Northeast of the island lies Løgstør Bredning while Livø Broads lies west and south of the island. Geography Livø has been a protected island since 1977. It is accessible by ferry daily between 1 April and 1 September. Dogs and motor vehicles are not permitted on the island. It is possible to walk around the entire island in one afternoon, which is about 10 km total distance. Limfjordsskolen is a boarding school for 16 to 19 years old men and women with learning disabilities and other difficulties. It is situated in the town of Løgstør, Denmark. The school was founded in 1969 by the Danish state. 42 pupils stay at the school for a normally three year special education in specific subjects (arts, nature, health, waterlife, theatre) combined with a general curriculum (environment, culture, society et al.). Aggersund Bridge
Aggersund is a village in northern Denmark with a population of 290 (2022). The village is a part of Vesthimmerland Municipality in the North Jutland Region. Evidence of settlement in Aggersund dates back to the stone age, and the village contains one of the oldest viking fortresses in Denmark, Aggersborg. Frederick VII (Frederik Carl Christian; 6 October 1808 – 15 November 1863) was King of Denmark from 1848 to 1863.
