Léo Pétrot (born 15 April 1997) is a French professional footballer who plays as a left-center back for club Saint-Étienne. Career A youth product of US Monistrol, Olympique Saint-Etienne, and Saint-Étienne, Pétrot began his senior career with the reserves of Saint-Étienne. He thereafter moved to the senior team of Andrézieux. On 16 July 2021, he signed a professional contract with FC Lorient. He made his professional debut with Lorient in a 2–2 Ligue 1 tie with RC Lens on 29 August 2021. Firminy
Firminy (; oc, Frominiu) is a commune in the Loire department in central France. It lies on the river Ondaine, 13 km southwest of Saint-Étienne by rail. History The ancient name of the town was ''Firminiaco'' or ''Firminiacus'' (lit. "place of Firmin"). The name was first recorded in a 971 charter by the King of Burgundy. Firminy had historically important coalmines known since the 14th century and extensive manufactures of iron, steel, and aluminum goods, including railway material, machinery and cannon. Association Sportive de Saint-Étienne Loire (), commonly known as A.S.S.E. () or simply Saint-Étienne, is a professional football club based in Saint-Étienne in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France. The club was founded in 1933 and competes in Ligue 2, the second division of French football, in the 2022–23 season. Saint-Étienne plays its home matches at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.
