Lyublino Park
Lyublino Park (Russian: Люблинский парк) is a park in Lyublino and Tesktilshchiki districts of Moscow , a part of a recreational complex "Kuzminki-Lyublino". It is located around Lyublino pond on Churiliha river. The park consists of two parts, divided by Krasnodonskaya street. The park was created in the beginning of 19th century as an English garden of N.A.Durasov's estate. Lyublino District
Lyublino (russian: Люблино) is a district of South-Eastern Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia. Population: The district's area is , making it the ninth biggest district in Moscow. History In the mid-16th century, there was a village, known as Godunovo, on the shores of the Goled River. In the 1680s, for the first time, this area was mentioned as Godunovo-Lyublino. In 1772, it was mentioned simply as Lyublino. During the 18th century, areas of Lyublino were owned by several Russian princes, the most notorious of them are Durasov family, who created Lyublino Park around their estate. In the 19th century Lyublino had been a simple town near Moscow, until a railroad was built there. After 1870 many workshops were built near the railroad station. Volzhskaya (Moscow Metro)
Volzhskaya (russian: Волжская) is a station on the Moscow Metro's Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line. The station was opened on 28 December 1995 as the final part of the first stage of the Lyblinsky radius and was the line's terminus for just under a year. Just behind the station a former cross junction tunnels can still be seen. The station is the first in Moscow to be built to a new design known as a single deck. In such a case the ceiling plate is made of individual long concrete slabs that are used for automobile bridges and they are lowered on the strengthened walls of the station. Moreover, this space automatically includes the vestibules and other construction details allowing more efficient and economical approach. The architect V.Volovich took the extra space offered by the high ceiling and revetted the walls with enameled aluminium consisting of a pale yellow colour high up and red lower down.
