Lyndon Hannibal
Lyndon Hannibal (born 20 November 1965) is a Sri Lankan international cricket umpire (cricket), umpire and a former first class cricketer. He stood as an Umpire (cricket), umpire in the tour match between Indian cricket team in Sri Lanka in 2015, Sri Lanka Board President's XI vs Indian national cricket team in August 2015. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Bangladesh national cricket team, Bangladesh and India national cricket team, India in the 2018 Nidahas Trophy, on 8 March 2018. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between Sri Lanka national cricket team, Sri Lanka and South Africa national cricket team, South Africa, on 8 August 2018. In October 2019, he was appointed as one of the twelve umpires to officiate matches in the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament in the United Arab Emirates. This is a list of cricket umpires who have officiated at least one men's One Day International (ODI) match. As of October 2022, 418 umpires have officiated in an ODI match. The first ODI match took place on 5 January 1971 between Australia and England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The umpires for this game were Tom Brooks and Lou Rowan. In April 2019, Claire Polosak became the first woman to stand in men's ODI match, when she was one of the on-field umpires for the final of the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. The third umpire (or TV Umpire) is an off-field umpire used in some cricket matches, particularly international matches. Their role is to make the final decision in questions referred to them by the two on-field umpires or the players. The third umpire is also there to act as an emergency on-field umpire if required. 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier
The 2019 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament held during October and November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates to determine which teams would qualify for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. The six teams finishing highest in the qualifier tournament joined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the first group stage of the 2020 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The tournament formed part of the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier series, with the Netherlands winning the final.
