Luxshare, officially Luxshare Precision Industry Co.,Ltd and also known as Luxshare-ICT. is a Chinese electronic components manufacturer. History Wang Laichun is the company's chairwoman, and co-founder. Wang founded Luxshare after ten years at Foxconn. Her brother Wang Laishen is Luxshare's vice chairman and is also ex-Foxconn. Wang Laichun's leadership style is seen as similar to Foxconn's Terry Gou. Luxshare was founded in 2004 in Dongguan, China. The company designs and manufacturers computer cables; it is also a key assembler of AirPods for Apple Inc. The company was listed publicly on the SME board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010. In 2020, Luxshare became an iPhone assembler after acquiring two iPhone assembly plants from Wistron. In 2022, Luxshare was accused by Taiwanese prosecutors of stealing trade secrets. AirPods are wireless Bluetooth earbuds designed by Apple Inc. They were first announced on September 7, 2016, alongside the iPhone 7. Within two years, they became Apple's most popular accessory. Catcher Technology Corporation, is an electronics casing manufacturing company founded on November 23, 1984. The company has since focused on making shells for electronics such as PC notebooks, cell phones, and cameras, using magnesium alloy die castings, aluminum alloys, zinc alloys, stainless steel or plastic. A series of protests against COVID-19 lockdowns began in mainland China in November 2022. Colloquially referred to as the White Paper Protests ( zh, s=白纸抗议, p=Bái zhǐ kàngyì) or the A4 Revolution ( zh, link=no, s=白纸革命, p=Bái zhǐ gémìng), the demonstrations started in response to measures taken by the Chinese government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country, including implementing a zero-COVID policy.
