Lumix Da Don
Patrick Lumumba (February 21, 1978 – July 13, 2015), known professionally as Lumix Da Don, was a Ugandan rapper, record producer, founder and CEO of Valley Curve Recordz based in Ntinda, Kampala. Lumix produced and recorded the greatest number of singles in Ugandan history. Lumix is considered one of the founding fathers of hip hop in Uganda. Most of Lumix's singles were either freestyles or were written 5–10 minutes before being recorded. Career Lumix Da Don attended Jinja College School in Jinja district of Uganda. While at Jinja College, he participated in rap contests. He started with a group called SNAG N' O and later formed the Disciples of Apocalypse (DOA). Rapper
Rapping (also rhyming, spitting, emceeing or MCing) is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street vernacular". Lyrical G
Jeff Kintu, better known by his stage name Lyrical G, is a Ugandan rapper, songwriter, record producer, and vocalist. In 2016, he was named among MTV Base's best hip hop artistes from Uganda. Lyrical G has won a number of accolades including the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 4th edition of the MTN UG Hiphop Awards 2020, also winning 4 Pearl of Africa Music (PAM) Awards including Best Hiphop Artiste Of The Year (2005 & 2006) PAM awards. Saba Saba, also known as Krazy Native (born Alex Kirya, 5 August 1977) is a hip hop artist and social activist from Uganda. Saba Saba began his hip hop career in 1993 with the group Bataka Squad. Saba Saba is now a solo artist, but remains a member of Bataka Squad. Saba Saba appeared in the film ''Diamonds in the Rough''. GNL Zamba, born Ernest Nsimbi, (29 January 1986) is a hip hop artist in Uganda, credited with bringing rap and Lugaflow style of music to mainstream radio and other media in Uganda. His stage name, GNL, is short for "Greatness With No Limits".
