Lukas Nemecz
Lukas Nemecz (born 17 August 1989) is an Austrian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. On the 2021 Challenge Tour, he was runner-up at the Italian Challenge, the German Challenge, and the Hopps Open de Provence. Early life and amateur career Nemecz was introduced to golf at a young age by his parents and credits sibling rivalry with helping him improve his game. He enjoyed a strong amateur career in Austria where he was an 11-time national champion. He was low amateur at the 2010 Lyoness Open and runner-up behind Julien Brun at the 2011 European Nations Cup in Spain. He was a member of the National Team and represented Austria at the 2011 European Amateur Team Championship and the 2012 Eisenhower Trophy. Official World Golf Ranking
The Official World Golf Ranking is a system for rating the performance level of professional golfers. It was started in 1986. The rankings are based on a player's position in individual tournaments (i.e. not pairs or team events) over a "rolling" two-year period. New rankings are calculated each week. During 2018, nearly 400 tournaments on 20 tours were covered by the ranking system. All players competing in these tournaments are included in the rankings. In 2022, 23 tours factored into the world rankings. As well as being of general interest, the rankings have an additional importance, in that they are used as one of the qualifying criteria for entry into a number of leading tournaments. Alfie Charles Plant (born 6 July 1992) is an English professional golfer. He came to prominence by winning the Silver Medal, as the leading amateur, at the 2017 Open Championship. Amateur career Plant was runner-up at the 2015 English Amateur at Alwoodley Golf Club, Leeds losing 9&7 to Joe Dean in the 36 hole final. Plant played for England in the 2016 Eisenhower Trophy were the team finished second, their best ever finish in the event. Later in 2016 he won the Lytham Trophy with a score of 284 to win by seven shots. Plant won the 2017 European Amateur at Walton Heath Golf Club. Plant was tied with two Italians, Luca Cianchetti and Lorenzo Scalise, on 273 after 72 holes.
