Luiza Monteiro (born 23 November 1988) is a Brazilian Grappling, submission grappler and 2nd degree black belt Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor. She has won gold medals in the Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Gi at all four major events and in Submission wrestling, no-gi at three of the four major events. Biography Luiza Monteiro was born on 23 November 1988, in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Her family moved to Niterói when she was a baby. Monteiro began training around 13 years old and passed through various schools before receiving her Black Belt in 2010 from Rodrigo Cavaca. At the beginning of 2018 Luiza joined the Atos Jiu-Jitsu Team in San Diego California where she now trains alongside competitors such as Andre Galvao, Kaynan Duarte and Lucas Barbosa (martial artist), Lucas Barbosa. Carlos Gracie
Carlos Gracie (September 14, 1902October 7, 1994) was a Brazilian martial artist who is credited with being one of the primary developers of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Nathalie "Tata" Ribeiro (born 6 November 1992) is a submission grappler and black belt Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor and instructor. The Campeonato Brasileiro de Jiu-Jitsu (lit. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship), commonly known as ''Brasileiro'', is an annual Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament held in Brazil by the IBJJF. The Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Pan American Championship (commonly known as Pan Ams or Pans), is the largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament held in North America.
