Luis Carniglia
Luis Antonio Carniglia (4 October 1917 – 22 June 2001) was an Argentine football striker and manager. He played for Boca Juniors in the 1930s, but is probably best known for managing Real Madrid in the 1950s. Luis Carniglia was buried in La Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires. Playing career Born in Olivos, Carniglia began his career in the fourth division club Club de Olivos, in 1932. He remained there for one season before joining Club Atlético Tigre, but this was only a stepping stone on his way to completing his childhood dream of playing for Boca Juniors, whom he signed for in 1936. His debut, for Boca, was in a friendly played in Parana and was quite a spectacle. Carniglia had a goal within 3 minutes and a fractured left arm by the fifth minute. Héctor Rial
José Héctor Rial Laguía (14 October 1928 – 24 February 1991) was a footballer who played as a forward for Real Madrid between 1954 and 1961, and was part of the team that won five consecutive European Cups. He played professional football in Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Spain, France and Chile. He was born and raised in Argentina, but represented the Spain national team on five occasions. Rial started playing professional football in 1947 with San Lorenzo de Almagro in the Primera Division Argentina. In July 1949, he moved to Colombia to play for Independiente Santa Fe. Raymond Kopa
Raymond Kopa (né Kopaszewski; 13 October 1931 – 3 March 2017) was a French professional footballer, integral to the France national team of the 1950s. At club level he was part of the legendary Real Madrid team of the 1950s, winning three European Cups. Francisco Gento
Francisco "Paco" Gento López (21 October 1933 – 18 January 2022) was a Spanish footballer who played as an outside left. He was voted by IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) as the greatest Spanish footballer and 30th greatest world footballer of the 20th century. Gento began his career at Racing Santander in 1952 and moved to Real Madrid the following season. He appeared in a joint record eight European Cup finals, winning a record six, as well as winning a record 12 La Liga titles. The Ballon d'Or (; ) is an annual football award presented by French news magazine ''France Football'' since 1956. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories.
