Luigi Palletti
Luigi Ernesto Palletti (born 29 October 1956) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who has been the bishop of La Spezia-Sarzana-Brugnato since 2012. Luigi Palletti was born in Genoa on 29 October 1956. After secondary school he enrolled at the "Nicolò Paganini" Conservatory in Genoa where he attended musical courses, graduating in piano in 1978. He entered the Major Seminary of Genoa at the age of 20 and later studied theology at the Theological Faculty of Northern Italy (Genoa Section). He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Genoa on 29 June 1983. From 1983 to 1989 he was parish vicar of San Giacomo Maggiore in Genoa Pontedecimo and he taught religion. From 1989 to 1996 he served the parish of San Giovanni Battista in Genoa Sestri Pontoise. The Most Reverend
The Most Reverend is a style applied to certain religious figures, primarily within the historic denominations of Christianity, but occasionally in some more modern traditions also. It is a variant of the more common style "The Reverend". Francesco Moraglia
Francesco Moraglia (born 25 May 1953) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church. He has been Patriarch of Venice since March 2012; he is the first native of Genoa to hold that position. He was bishop of Roman Catholic Diocese of La Spezia-Sarzana-Brugnato, La Spezia-Sarzana-Brugnato from 2008 to 2012. Giuseppe Siri
Giuseppe Siri (20 May 1906 – 2 May 1989) was an Italian cardinal of the Catholic Church who served as Archbishop of Genoa from 1946 to 1987, and was elevated to the rank of cardinal in 1953. He was a protege of Pope Pius XII. He was considered a likely candidate to succeed Pius XII, John XXIII, Paul VI, and John Paul I. Tarcisio Bertone
Tarcisio Pietro Evasio Bertone (born 2 December 1934) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church and a Vatican diplomat. A cardinal, he served as Archbishop of Vercelli from 1991 to 1995, as Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Archbishop of Genoa from 2002 to 2006, and as Cardinal Secretary of State from 2006 to 2013.
