Lucy Higham
Lucy Florence Higham (born 17 October 1997) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Nottinghamshire, The Blaze and Northern Superchargers. She plays primarily as a right-arm off break bowler. She has previously played for Leicestershire, as well as for Loughborough Lightning in the Women's Cricket Super League and Trent Rockets in The Hundred. Early life Higham was born on 17 October 1997 in Leicester. She attended Loughborough University. Domestic career Higham made her county debut in 2013, for Leicestershire in a match against Scotland. She did not bat or bowl. She went on to take seven wickets at an average of 14.28 in her first County Championship season. She soon became one of Leicestershire's top performers, and was their leading wicket-taker in the 2014 Women's Twenty20 Cup, the 2015 Women's County Championship and the 2016 Women's County Championship. 2013 Women's County Championship
The 2013 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 17th cricket Women's County Championship season. It ran from April to September and saw 33 county teams and teams representing Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands compete in a series of divisions. Sussex Women won the County Championship as winners of the top division, beating Yorkshire in the division final. The Championship was Sussex's sixth title. Competition format Teams played matches within a series of divisions with the winners of the top division being crowned County Champions. Matches were played using a one day format with 50 overs per side. The championship worked on a points system, with placings decided by average points of completed games. Yorkshire Diamonds
Yorkshire Diamonds were an English women's Twenty20 cricket team based in Leeds, Yorkshire. They were formed in 2016 to compete in the inaugural season of the Women's Cricket Super League. They played their home matches at grounds across Yorkshire, including Headingley Cricket Ground and Clifton Park, York, and were partnered with Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Chamari Atapattu
Atapattu Mudiyanselage Chamari Jayangani (born 9 February 1990, also known as Chamari Athapaththu) is a Sri Lankan cricketer and the current captain of the women's Twenty20 International team of Sri Lanka. She had a short stint as the captain of the Sri Lanka women's team, and was succeeded by the previous captain Shashikala Siriwardene. Chamari was the tenth captain for Sri Lanka women's national cricket team, winning only one ODI, with 13 losses. 2018 Women's Cricket Super League
The 2018 Women's Cricket Super League, or 2018 Kia Super League for sponsorship reasons, was the third season of the Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), the semi-professional women's cricket competition in England and Wales. The competition, run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), consisted of six franchise teams playing in a Twenty20 format. Western Storm were the defending champions. Surrey Stars won the competition, defeating Loughborough Lightning by 66 runs in the final. Lancashire Women Cricket Team
The Lancashire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Lancashire. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including Beaconsfield Road, Widnes. They are coached by Chris Chambers and captained by Eleanor Threlkeld. They won both the County Championship and the Twenty20 Cup in 2017. Lancashire have links with Cumbria, with some players playing for both sides, as well as some of their players helping make up a North Representative XI. Northamptonshire Women Cricket Team
The Northamptonshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Northamptonshire. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including Dolben Cricket Ground, Finedon and Northampton Road, Brixworth. They are captained by Patricia Hankins. In 2019, they played in Division Three of the final season of the Women's County Championship, and have since competed in the Women's Twenty20 Cup.
