Luciano Trani
Luciano Trani (born 10 August 1966 in Melbourne, Victoria) is an Australian former association football, soccer player who currently serves as the assistant manager of A-League Men club Brisbane Roar FC. Coaching career Trani began coaching at the Victorian Premier League and National Soccer League levels with the Fawkner Blues, Essendon Royals, Whittlesea Zebras FC, Whittlesea Stallions, Brisbane Strikers and the Melbourne Knights. He then took up roles as a coaching instructor for Football Federation Victoria and Head Coach of Pascoe Vale FC, before joining Wellington Phoenix. He then transferred to a job at Adelaide United where he joined as Assistant coach and was the Acting Coach On 23 August 2012, Trani had left his post at Adelaide United after rejecting a reshuffle into a youth coaching role. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. The National Premier Leagues Victoria 2, commonly referred to as NPL Victoria 2, is a semi-professional soccer league in Victoria, Australia. The league is the second-highest in the Victorian league system, behind the National Premier Leagues Victoria, and forms the third tier of the overall Australian league system.
