Luciano Serra Pilota
"Luciano Serra pilota" is a song by the Italian Italo disco duo Righeira, included on their debut studio album, ''Righeira'' (1983). Johnson Righeira, the writer of the song, was inspired to write the song after an Italian war drama film of the same name. Composition Johnson Righeira wrote "Luciano Serra pilota" with inspiration from the 1938 Italian war drama film ''Luciano Serra, Pilot'' starring Amedeo Nazzari as Luciano Serra. In an interview with ''Rolling Stone'' magazine, Righi commented, "The song was mainly based on D.A.F. and Kraftwerk, one of my favourite bands." "Luciano Serra pilota" was one of five songs from ''Righeira'' to be written solely by Righi (the other four being "Tanzen mit Righeira", " Gli parlerò di te", "Disco Volante" and "Kon Tiki"). Critical reception In a review of the ''Righeira'' album, the song was described, along with "Gli parlerò di te" and "Kon Tiki", as a "hidden pearl of dance and pop music". According to the staff from the ...

The duo was formed after attending the Albert Einstein Scientific High School as schoolmates. Songs In Italian
A song is a musical composition intended to be performed by the human voice. This is often done at distinct and fixed pitches (melodies) using patterns of sound and silence. Songs contain various forms, such as those including the repetition and variation of sections. Written words created specifically for music, or for which music is specifically created, are called lyrics. If a pre-existing poem is set to composed music in classical music it is an art song. Songs that are sung on repeated pitches without distinct contours and patterns that rise and fall are called chants. Songs composed in a simple style that are learned informally "by ear" are often referred to as folk songs. Songs that are composed for professional singers who sell their recordings or live shows to the mass market are called popular songs. These songs, which have broad appeal, are often composed by professional songwriters, composers, and lyricists. Art songs are composed by trained classical composers fo ...

Biplane
A biplane is a fixed-wing aircraft with two main wings stacked one above the other. The first powered, controlled aeroplane to fly, the Wright Flyer, used a biplane wing arrangement, as did many aircraft in the early years of aviation. While a biplane wing structure has a structural advantage over a monoplane, it produces more drag than a monoplane wing. Improved structural techniques, better materials and higher speeds made the biplane configuration obsolete for most purposes by the late 1930s. Biplanes offer several advantages over conventional cantilever monoplane designs: they permit lighter wing structures, low wing loading and smaller span for a given wing area. However, interference between the airflow over each wing increases drag substantially, and biplanes generally need extensive bracing, which causes additional drag. Biplanes are distinguished from tandem wing arrangements, where the wings are placed forward and aft, instead of above and below. The term is also ...

No Tengo Dinero (Righeira Song)
"No Tengo Dinero" is a song by the Italian Italo disco duo Righeira from their 1983 debut album ''Righeira (album), Righeira''. It was written by Michael Righeira, the duo's backing vocalist and producers Carmelo La Bionda and Michelangelo La Bionda. While not as successful as their earlier single, "Vamos a la playa (Righeira song), Vamos a la playa", the song nonetheless achieved high popularity, hitting 12th place in Germany. Much like their previous single, the song is written in Spanish because it was considered an unusual combination with electronic pop music, and celebrating in spite of hardship (in this case poverty, as opposed to Vamos a la playa (Righeira song), nuclear war). Commercial performance In Italy, it reached the fifteenth position on the ''Musica e dischi'' chart. Music video The music video for "No Tengo Dinero" was directed by Pierluigi de Mas, who had previously worked with Righeira in the videos for "Vamos a la playa (Righeira song), Vamos a la playa ...

Vamos A La Playa (Righeira Song)
"Vamos a la playa" is a song by the Italian Italo disco duo Righeira, released in 1983 as the second single from their debut studio album, ''Righeira'' (1983). It was written by Johnson Righeira, the duo's lead vocalist and producer Carmelo La Bionda. The song was the duo's only charting hit in the UK, peaking at number 53 on the UK Singles Chart. The single also went to number one in Italy as well as the Swiss Hitparade. On the Dutch Top 40, it got as high as number two, and on the Official German Charts it peaked at number three. Despite its ostensibly innocuous beach theme, the song actually talks about the explosion of an atomic bomb. Background and inspiration Johnson Righeira came up with the melody for "Vamos a la playa" as he experimented on a keyboard. In 2017, Righi told ''Vice'' journalist Demented Burrocacao how he got the idea for his song: Critical reception Writing for ''Le journal minimal'' in 2022, journalist Emmanuelle Veil decribed the lyrics to "Va ...
