Luca Romagnoli
Luca Romagnoli (born 12 September 1961 in Rome) is an Italian politician and former Member of the European Parliament for Southern Italy with the neo-fascist party Tricolour Flame, being a Non-Inscrit (for a short time, ITS group member) in the European Parliament. He sat on its Committee on Transport and Tourism, and was a substitute for the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs and a member of the Delegation for relations with Mercosur. Tricolour Flame
The Social Movement Tricolour Flame ( it, Movimento Sociale Fiamma Tricolore, MSFT), commonly known as Tricolour Flame (''Fiamma Tricolore''), is a neo-fascist political party in Italy. History The party was started by the more radical members of the Fascist Italian Social Movement, led by Pino Rauti, who refused to join the mainstream conservative party National Alliance. Rauti was later ousted by Luca Romagnoli, who took over leadership. In the 2004 European Parliamentary Election the party gained enough votes in the Southern constituency to elect Luca Romagnoli to the European Parliament. New Alliance (''Nuova Alleanza'') was a liberal-conservative faction within National Alliance, a political party in Italy. The faction was founded in December 2001 by Altero Matteoli, Cristiana Muscardini, Adolfo Urso and Domenico Nania, who were at the time the staunchest supporters of the leadership of Gianfranco Fini. Adriana Poli Bortone (born 25 August 1943) is an Italian politician who was a Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2008. She represented Southern Italy. She was mayor of Lecce until 2007. Biography Born in Lecce, she became Assistant lecturer in Latin literature at the University of Lecce in 1965. In 1985 she became an associate professor in the same subject. I the South (''Io Sud'', IS), was a conservative regionalist political party in Italy, which has been a faction of Brothers of Italy since 2014. The party emerged in 2009 as an Apulian split from National Alliance (AN) led by Adriana Poli Bortone, shortly before AN was merged into The People of Freedom (PdL). Soon after the party approached to the Union of the Centre (UdC) in order to form a centrist party as an alternative to the PdL, and in this perspective Poli Bortone joined UdC in a common group in the Senate. Roberto Menia (born 3 December 1961 in Pieve di Cadore, Veneto) is an Italian politician. Biography Roberto Menia has a law degree and he is a publicist journalist. Francesco Storace (born 25 January 1959 in Cassino, Lazio) is an Italian politician and journalist. Biography He began his career at the right-wing newspaper ''Il Secolo d'Italia'', until entering the ranks of the neo-fascist party Italian Social Movement (MSI) and later of National Alliance (AN) after repudiation of extremism.
