Luboš Kozel
Luboš Kozel (born 16 March 1971) is a Czech football manager and former player. Following a playing career where he was associated with Slavia Prague, he spent seven years as manager of FK Dukla Prague, overseeing their transition from the Second League to the Czech First League. Kozel played for the Czech Republic, appearing in nine matches and scoring one goal. Playing career Kozel played the majority of his club football at Slavia Prague, playing nine seasons of the Czech First League there. He went on to play for Bohemians Prague and Viktoria Plzeň in the top flight, amassing a total of 160 appearances in the league. He represented his country at the 1997 FIFA Confederations Cup. In his country he played for SK Slavia Prague and he also played for Hungarian Újpest FC. Managerial career In 2004, Kozel started work as assistant coach at the "B" team of Slavia Prague. Vlašim
Vlašim (; german: Wlaschim) is a town in Benešov District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 11,000 inhabitants. Vlašim is known for its castle and English style park. The Czech National Football League ( cs, Fotbalová národní liga, ''FNL''), currently known as Fortuna národní liga due to sponsorship reasons, is the second level professional association football league in the Czech Republic. Jaroslav Šilhavý
Jaroslav Šilhavý (; born 3 November 1961) is a Czech football manager and former player. He is the coach of Czech Republic. As a player, Šilhavý made a total of 464 top flight appearances spanning the end of the Czechoslovak First League and the beginning of the Czech First League, scoring 25 goals. His 464 appearances was a Czech league record until 6 November 2022, when Šilhavý was surpassed by Milan Petržela with 465 appearances. His son, Tomáš Šilhavý, also played football in the Czech First League. As a manager, Šilhavý won the 2011–12 Czech First League with FC Slovan Liberec. He has also had spells managing other top flight clubs in the Czech Republic, including Kladno, Viktoria Plzeň and Dynamo České Budějovice. Günter Bittengel
Günter Bittengel (born 14 July 1966) is a Czech football coach and former player. He played as a striker in the Czechoslovak First League and went on to play in the Czech First League after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. As a result, he also represented both Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic at international level. Club career During his playing career, Bittengel made over 100 league appearances for Dukla Prague in six seasons at the club. He was part of the Dukla team which won the 1989–90 Czechoslovak Cup. Bittengel then went to Germany to play for Bayer Uerdingen. During his time in Germany he played 153 league matches, scoring a total of 20 goals. Later in his career, Bittengel returned to the Czech Republic and played for FK Chmel Blšany, where he was the captain. Ladislav Škorpil
Ladislav Škorpil (born 6 June 1945, in Hradec Králové) is a former Czech football player and former manager of the Czech club FC Slovan Liberec. Škorpil is also a member of the Civic Democratic Party in his hometown of Hradec Králové. Coaching career Ladislav Škorpil ended his playing career early and, at the age of 23, began the 1969/70 season as a C- and D-youth coach at Spartak Hradec Králové. During the 1970s, he worked for the A and B youth teams. In 1981, he won the Czechoslovak youth cup. From 1982 to 1990, Škorpil worked as a youth coach in the Czechoslovak national team. 2007–08 UEFA Cup
The 2007–08 UEFA Cup was the 37th edition of the UEFA Cup, UEFA's second-tier club football tournament. The final was played at the City of Manchester Stadium, Manchester, England on 14 May 2008 between Rangers of Scotland and Zenit Saint Petersburg of Russia. Zenit won the match 2–0, with goals from Igor Denisov and Konstantin Zyryanov, to claim their first UEFA Cup title. The first qualifying games were played on 19 July 2007 and the main tournament commenced on 20 September 2007. FK Jablonec () is a Czech professional football club based in Jablonec nad Nisou. The club has played in the top league of Czech football, Czech First League, since 1994.
