Lowa District
Lowa District (french: District de la Lowa, nl, District Lowa) was a district of the Belgian Congo. It was formed from part of Stanleyville District in 1914, and had been absorbed by Maniema District and Kivu District by 1926. Location The district was named after the Lowa River shown on an 1897 map as entering the Congo from the east between Lokandu to the south and Ponthierville to the north. It was created by an ''arrêté royal'' of 28 March 1912, which divided the Congo into 22 districts. A 1912 map shows that the large former Stanleyville District had been broken into a much smaller Stanleyville District and new Lowa, Maniema, Kivu and Ituri districts. Lowa District was border by Stanleyville District to the north, Kivu District to the west, Maniema District to the south and Aruwimi District to the west. The Lowa District became part of the Orientale Province created in 1914, as shown in a 1914 map. It had disappeared by 1926, absorbed into the Kivu District and Maniema ... Lowa Language
Central Tibetan, also known as Dbus, Ü or Ü-Tsang, is the most widely spoken Tibetic language and the basis of Standard Tibetan. ''Dbus'' and ''Ü'' are forms of the same name. ''Dbus'' is a transliteration of the name in Tibetan script, , whereas ''Ü'' is the pronunciation of the same in Lhasa dialect, (or ). That is, in Tibetan, the name is spelled ''Dbus'' and pronounced ''Ü''. All of these names are frequently applied specifically to the prestige dialect of Lhasa. Tecnica Group
Tecnica Group is a sport equipment manufacturer in the market of footwear and winter sports equipment founded in Giavera del Montello, Treviso, Italy. Tecnica Group brands include Blizzard, Lowa, Moon Boot, Nordica, Rollerblade, and Tecnica. History Tecnica Group was established in the 1960s. Over the years several additional brands became part of the Group and today it covers various product categories, specifically footwear, ski boots, skis, outdoor and inline skates. In 1930 Oreste Zanatta founded a small shop focused on working boots production, that officially became in 1960 the Calzaturificio Tecnica SpA.
