Low Wormwood
Low Wormwood () is a band from Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu Province. Their music style is folk, blending with rock and experimental elements. Low Wormwood observe and investigate the world using their music from the unique perspective of Northwesterners of China, mixed with strong feelings to their hometown, Lanzhou, a valley city with Yellow River crossing between two mountain ridges erected both sides of north and south. Lanzhou
Lanzhou (, ; ) is the capital and largest city of Gansu Province in Northwest China. Located on the banks of the Yellow River, it is a key regional transportation hub, connecting areas further west by rail to the eastern half of the country. Gansu
Gansu (, ; alternately romanized as Kansu) is a province in Northwest China. Its capital and largest city is Lanzhou, in the southeast part of the province. The seventh-largest administrative district by area at , Gansu lies between the Tibetan and Loess plateaus and borders Mongolia ( Govi-Altai Province), Inner Mongolia and Ningxia to the north, Xinjiang and Qinghai to the west, Sichuan to the south and Shaanxi to the east. Tenzenmen
Tenzenmen is a Sydney-based DIY organisation involved in various aspects of music including production, promotion and touring. History Started in Sydney during 2004, tenzenmen took its name from a previous project some 10 years before. tenzenmen released a much sought-after pink vinyl 12" recording titled Quarrychase on German label Very Good Records. In the new century the name was revived with plans to release a series of CDs, the first being a 2 disc collection of recordings from the 2003 NOWnow festival. Soon followed by the first in the series of Eccentrics 3 band compilations and the second Kroko CD titled Rabia. By the end of the year tenzenmen had successfully toured Japanese punk band Limited Express (has gone?) through Australia and New Zealand and started to dabble in tour organisation.
