Lovel Palmer
Lovel Palmer (born 30 August 1984 in Mandeville, Jamaica, Mandeville) is a Jamaican Association football, footballer who currently plays as a Defender (association football), defender and midfielder for the Des Moines Menace in the Premier Development League. Career Youth Palmer began his career with the St. Elizabeth Technical High School football team in his native Jamaica, and in 1995 joined Essex Valley FC. In 1998, with Essex Valley, Palmer participated in an international youth tournament in Norway He also played in several youth teams for Essex Valley before joining the youth system of Harbour View F.C., Harbour View in January 1999. Club Palmer won Premier League and Caribbean Club Championship titles in 1995 and 2004 with Harbour View F.C., Harbour View, before joining TT Pro League team W Connection on loan. Mandeville, Jamaica
Mandeville is the capital and largest town in the parish of Manchester in the county of Middlesex, Jamaica. In 2005, the town had an estimated population of 50,000, and including the immediate suburbs within a radius of the total population was about 72,000. It is located on an inland plateau at an altitude of 628 m (2061 feet), and is west of Kingston. It is the only parish capital of Jamaica not located on the coast or on a major river. Mandeville has a town square, parish church and clock tower, and many large, elegant early nineteenth-century houses line the winding streets in the town centre. The TT Pro League (formerly known as the Professional Football League) is the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition and serves as the top division in the Trinidad and Tobago football league system. 2010 Major League Soccer Season
The 2010 Major League Soccer season was the 98th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer, the 32nd with a national first-division league, in the United States and Canada, and the 15th in Major League Soccer, MLS history. It began on March 25 at Seattle's Qwest Field with Seattle Sounders FC defeating the expansion Philadelphia Union, 2–0. The 2010 MLS All-Star Game was played at Reliant Stadium, hosted by the Houston Dynamo on July 28 as the MLS XI fell 5–2 to visiting Manchester United F.C., Manchester United. The regular season concluded on October 24, with Los Angeles Galaxy winning the MLS Supporters' Shield, Supporters' Shield by one point over Real Salt Lake. North American Soccer League (2011–2017)
The North American Soccer League (NASL) was a professional men's soccer league based in the United States. The league was named for, but had no connection to, the original North American Soccer League. The later NASL was founded in 2009, and began play in 2011 with eight teams. From 2013 through 2017, the NASL used a split-season schedule running from April to early November, with a four-week break in July. The spring and fall champions, along with the two teams with best combined spring/fall records met in a four-team single-elimination tournament known as ''The Championship''. 2013 MLS Cup
MLS Cup 2013, the 18th edition of Major League Soccer's championship match, was a soccer match which took place on Saturday, December 7, 2013 between Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas, United States. The soccer match was to decide the winner of the 2013 season. Sporting KC were making their third appearance in the competition's final, having won in 2000 and losing in 2004. RSL were appearing in their second final, having won their only other in 2009. It was the first MLS Cup final to be held at Sporting Park and the second time the championship match was not held at a predetermined neutral site. 2012 MLS Re-Entry Draft
The two-stage 2012 MLS Re-Entry Draft took place on December 7, 2012 (Stage 1) and December 14, 2012 (Stage 2). All 19 Major League Soccer clubs were eligible to participate. The Stage 1 and Stage 2 Drafts were conducted in the same order as the traditional Waiver Draft, with clubs choosing in reverse order of their 2012 Major League Soccer season finish. Adam John William Moffat (born 15 May 1986) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and spent the majority of his career playing in the various professional leagues in the United States. Michael Shaun Chabala (born May 24, 1984) is an American former soccer player. Career Chabala played college soccer at the University of Washington, and also played with in the USL Premier Development League with both Yakima Reds and his hometown team, Fresno Fuego. Professional Chabala was drafted in the fourth round (44th overall) of the 2006 MLS SuperDraft by Houston Dynamo. He was loaned to Portland Timbers of the USL First Division during his first year with the Dynamo, making nine appearances.
